“A number of pieces came with green mould which is only evident after opening all the packs. Would appreciate advice on how to remove this as had to assemble in time for daughter’s birthday and could not return. Assembly instructions were easy enough to follow though can’t quite understand why holes aren’t pre-drilled as would be far quicker to install and less room for error. Despite pre-drilling pilot holes, splintering often seen and my daughter got a few stuck in a her finger first usage.”

“Was a tad disappointed in the quality of the slide and mold on wood . Told it was a reaction to the treatment ! I asked a joiner who put it up and he said it was black mold due to water ingress. Apart from that the climbing frame is good as are the swings and kids love it . That’s the main thing”

“We love the swing/slide set we bought it arrived a lot quicker than expected- it’s sturdy and well made (though the instructions could have been a bit better). Ultimately though we are really pleased with this. However we are really disappointed with the sand pit extension we bought. For £50 we expected a lot better than some wood for a lid, a small bag of sand that won’t be enough to fill it and a bit of material lining. It definitely isn’t worth the money paid for it and a big let down considering how pleased we were with the main set. If this was sold at a cheaper price to match the materials given etc this would be acceptable but £50 is extremely steep for what you actually receive. We had considered the climbing extension instead now wish we had gone for this as hopefully it would have been worth the extra money.”

“Missing 15 screws. Thankfully we had some lying around that we could use. Delivery took a lot longer than anticipated. Seems very sturdy and my little boy is happy with it.”

“The climbing frame is lovely but was a pain to put together as the poles were to thick for the hole resulting in hammering it in which then split some of the post”

“I found the double swing frame to be quite flimsy and the anchors don't hold well despite trying them in numerous positions. We have added our own wood to the frame reinforce it so I am now satisfied that my 5 year old can use it safely.”

“Ordering was easy, delivery took longer than other places when we bought the same item for the same price. Customer service seems polite but not interested in helping with parts for items not bought from them. Over all, a good experience so far.”

“Rebo Wooden Swing Set plus Deck & Slide - Halley Green Good quality materials, easy to build. We treated the wood ourselves. However, the handrails at the top of the deck / slide need to be higher for safety reasons. Vertical ladder of deck is obstructed by corner pole of swing set and is a challenge to use anyway. A ladder which slopes is necessary. Room for improvement.”

“I was very disappointed with the communication from Outdoor Toys. No updates on our delivery and no way of tracking. On attempting to call I was on hold for over 1 hour, tried at different times and no answer. The phone lines are clearly unmanned. I sent an email which has responded to the next day with minimal details, causing more questions than answers. No apology for the delays with the telephone lines. Very poor however have marked up as the equipment is great. Hopefully service will be rectified for future customers.”

“Understandably our order took longer to deliver than usual due to covid. However disappointed that we weren't actually advised by anyone the day to expect the delivery and it was good fortune I was home, disappointingly still only part of the frane was delivered, again no contact about when to expect the rest of it, just a guess from the delivery man. So can't even comment on the quality either.”

“Car arrived today for my Son, and the bonnet has a chip on it. Quite noticeable too, haven't even unpackaged it and I saw it straight away. Delivery however was amazingly quick! So very impressed on that behalf, just wish they check the item for faults before sending.”

“Pretty sturdy design however my only issue which is quite a big one is how tight the legs were in getting in to the upper supports. So tight in fact that we had to use a sledge hammer against a block of wood against the legs and even then not all of the legs made it all the way in. Also as there are pre-drilled holes for the platform trying to keep them aligned was impossible so I had to drill new holes for the platform. With regards to value for money definitely worth it as kids love it but could be easier to put together.”

“Although we are pleased with the finished slide, it was very difficult to assemble. It was a two person job and took a long time to put together. All holes had to be drilled but there were no markers to indicate where to drill.”

“We bought a Rebo slide which was decent quality once constructed. However, the assembly instructions were wrong in several places meaning we had to correct and rebuild a number of times.”
