“I bought a 4 tray tiger wormery from original organics. The state that it will suit a family of four and that they supply a decent amount of worms. both these claims are totally false. The wormerie is quite small and fills up really quickly The worms were packed in two bags that weighed about a pound. When i opened the bags there couldnt have been more than 200 worms there. I wish i had done more research before buying as their are far better value wormeries out there”

Hi Sara, The 4 tray tiger wormery is enough for a family of 4. What could of been the issue is overfeeding the wormery during the early stages. What you need to do is add food to each tray gradually allowing time for the worms to work their magic. Then, once the first tray is full, you'd then start to add food to the next tray and continue on. 1 bag of worms is also more than enough to run a wormery effectively so 2 bags should of caused no issues at all. “Unfortunately the product (green sheet to use to separate worm castings from worms) was damaged. It had a long slash in it, as though made with a sharp knife. I fixed it with a piece of gaffer tape - less hassle to do that than send it back.”
