Worst customer service and I'm still waiting for my order after a month. There was no reaching out to me to let me know and I did not get a confirmation that my order was been processed

I am sorry you appear to be so disappointed with your experience. Order confirmations are emailed automatically to the email address supplied when an order is placed. The carriers had difficultly delivering unfortunately and as such returned the parcel to us when no contact was received from you after several attempts to get in touch. The Customer Care Team

First of all, the bulbs are glass not plastic, so if you have boys in the garden like I do, it can be tricky. I loved them when they first arrived. They looked great, but as soon as I opened them, one didn't work. As one of my cheap plastic ones has melted under the sun, I exchanged the light and solar panel, so that was it, or so I thought! They lighted up for most of the night, sometimes even still given a bit of light at 5 or 6 am! Friends complimented them, it was a win/win, or so I thought! To wanted to make sure I would have them all shiny and lovely for this Spring/Summer, so I packed them carefully away before the weather got bad. I took them out, turned them on, and only 2 worked!!! I have been charging them an off/on button broke as I turned it on, in short, I now only have 2 working, which one of them might be the one I replaced from the start. Looked great, give great light, but they don't last. A complete waste of money!

Thank you for getting in touch with us. In relation to your first sentence, we describe the bulbs correctly on our website as glass so customers are fully aware of what they are purchasing. What point you are making therefore is not very clear I'm afraid. As such as with any fragile item careful handling is required. These solar lights have been extremely popular with customers, receiving very positive reviews, both for how they look when illuminated and also for the price point of less than £20.00 for six lights, Angus. I would have loved to write a review, but I have not received the lamp as even after paying extra for express delivery the item was not delivered within the advertised timeframes....

Part of the order (bulbs) arrived. Website was showing that my item is available to purchase However, now is showing as redy to pre order for May. What am I supposed to do as I can't complete the rest of renovation and I've got little baby at home! Will update whether I will manage to get my money back and how quick.

One star for style. Otherwise rather poor design and construction. Heavy construction in steel and required an additional special mounting bracket to be made to support the weight from ceiling plaster board to spread load. The plastic cord reel was no up to free 'rise and fall' operation. Cord came off plastic winding mechanism and had to be rebuilt to restore height adjustment. Now adjusted to a fixed position to save future damage if 'rise and fall' Lower Stainless steel mounting disc not concentric ring but 'D' shaped. Poor quality control in manufacturing. Now up and working in a limited mode after re-engineering. Overall a rather poor product. Price was about £100 sterling. I declined to return so next comment not tested.

Previous purchasers of this product have not reported having to make any modifications. This is not a £60 light, build is cheap, adjustment is course. Don’t know how long it will last, I would estimate two winters?

I ordered a light which arrived and looked amazing, however noticed one of the casings where cracked. The customer service team where quick to resolve and sent me a new light which arrived and all casings where smashed to bits! I have then been sent another light however is a completely different light??? And now getting no response from the CS team??? Hugely disappointed especially when I actually really like the light just simply wanted one that wasn’t faulty.

If you can find it elsewhere, then do. Firstly I received the wrong light, after two months and spending hours trying to get in touch with this company, I finally received the correct light. One of the 15 glass shades was broken and again my messages go ignored. It’s been 4 months since I ordered the light. I’m very disappointed with this company.

Very poor service, lack of communication and ignore emails and social media ! Item only sent when I advised it was in fact In stock and not as they had advised stuck in Transit due to brexit and covid !

I returned a light worth £100 two months ago and I have still not received my refund. I have contacted customer services multiple times and I have provided proof of postage and a returns confirmation email and I still have not received a refund. I wouldn’t usually chase a refund up but £100 is a lot of money which I’m sure most will agree.

As I am sure you understand in circumstances such as these we have a process to follow. Unfortunately your returned parcel did not reach us. We do understand you dropped it off and it was picked up by our nominated carrier and then was lost in transit from that point. This of course is very regrettable and a most unusual occurrence also. I ordered from lampandlight co on the 25th December 2020 and nothing came 4th February 2021 still nothing they won't answer phone or emails so essentially they have stolen my cash DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY

I paid for a 1-2 day delivery the product has still not arrived 5 days later. When I tried to track it I was told there was not tracking information. What is the point of offering tracking. I plan to cancel the order, I wonder how long it will be before I get my refund.

I received an email stating my light fitting would be late (09/12). I emailed twice asking for updates followed by phone calls and no one replied nor have they let me know what’s happening. Assume you guys have now gone into lockdown as I haven’t received my light fitting which is completely understandable, but then I’m asked to review the service and also receive an email from Hermes saying they are waiting for my parcel to be sent to them via yourselves. All very confusing....

Impossible to write a review at this time, as the order I placed some days ago in good faith, will not be delivered until mid February 2021, even though I have paid for it, and paid extra for express delivery. Not happy at all!

So far not great - tried to cancel order within 5 minutes of placing it ... and was told it was already processed and I would have to return it once it's been delivered. Now having issues trying to get it returned.
