I was very happy with the choice of lighting available on the website and with the communication regarding dispatch of my order and delivery time slot. However....my order didn't arrive and tracking next day showed it had been returned to the Yodel depot. This is likely to be because the courier couldn't find our address. A simple phone call would have enabled the driver to have instructions on how to find our house. Why is this not the default? I have arranged for the order to be delivered to another address. The fault lies with the courier and not Online Lighting.

Poor service from start to finish. 1) The item arrived late. 2) When it did arrive it was damaged. 3) Trying to return it is difficult. 4) The Returns procedure / portal doesn't work - the number on your invoice and postcode/Zipcodes couldn't be found so I cannot return. 5) Did not get a reply to emails. With no telephone number and limited times to speak with online chat I wish I had just bought with Amazon. The positive was when I could speak with Online chat Sam was as helpful as could be and tried. Shame the systems let this company down and they use APC couriers for delivery which is awful.

I am sorry you are so disappointed with your experience shopping with us. Our phone numbers are on the home page of the website at the top. In addition we can be contacted by email or Live Chat staffed by team members seven days a week. The returns portal was operational at the time however is case sensitive. We find APC to be very reliable as our carrier partners however we do recognise periodically mishaps occur. The Customer Service Team

Really disappointed with delivery. Ordered a light on March 9th and still a month later I still have no light. I have emailed them to chase it up and every time told it is delayed due to transit from overseas. It is now expected 23rd April but I’m not holding out much hope for that date either!! Would be a good idea for them to mention when ordering that there is a huge delay on any light fittings from abroad. Check your item is in stock and how long for delivery before you order and pay!

Thank you for getting in touch. The tension needs to be adjusted on these lights to allow them to operate as intended. This easily done via the mechanism within the ceiling rose cup. The Customer Care Team

i was pleased with the lamp i bought, but it had a euro plug which is not used in the UK. i had to spend £80 to get it rectified. obviously that was the result since i had to get an emergency electrician. i was disappointed and cross with online lighting

I think there is some confusion here. We supply adaptors with these lamps which fit over the two-pin plug and convert to a three pin. Re-wiring is not required. We would not sell any product that could not be used in the UK. Also, any product that is not found to be suitable can be returned for refund. Thank you for getting in touch. To date, I haven't received any service of any sort from you at all! All I've had so far is an email dated 28th. December confirming my order, and an email from Hermes on the 30th saying they're waiting to receive a package from you so they can deliver it. Apparently, they are still waiting. It seems somewhat premature, therefore, to be requesting feedback on what will eventually, by today's standards, be rather slow service.

Although express delivery was booked and promised for Saturday, the package did not arrive until theTuesday. When it arrived, the main outside packing box had burst open, and the contents were loose inside. The product box had also burst open and a couple of small items were loose inside the main box. The package had suffered some rough treatment in transit, and the lamentably poor packing and lack of padding to fill the excess space meant that contents were considerably knocked about. The bulb survived without breaking. The lamp has not yet been assembled, and although there is no list of contents to check, all components seem to be present.

I ordered three large lights and paid for express delivery. About 24 hours later I received an email to say the items were out of stock and would not be in stock until around 21st December. I would not have ordered these products if the website had stated they were out of stock and now I am stuck having paid for the lights and express delivery and no lights.

Very disappointed with their Customer Services which is not available to talk to. If they responded to emails promptly would help but it seems they purposely avoid responding so items are sent even though it may have needed to be changed because they are taking too long to fulfill an order. I would not use them again. A positive for them was that items were cheaper than other suppliers.

I have contacted the company twice to report the base of the lamp was broken in two when I received it . I am still waiting for a response. I would expect a replacement. I did like the lamp

Two lovely pendant lights very nice when fitted but unfortunately after fitting noticed that there was a defect at the bottom rim which could only be seen afte it was up , I thought it was a chip but it an embellishment in the glass , quite apprehensive about ordering a replacement incase new one is the same

The shades arrived promptly and are very nice but I was disappointed by the fittings which do not fit any of my conventional lamps either standard or table lamps. This was not made clear in the description and I have had to seek out extra fittings in order to try them and see how they look.
