“No updates from one call But recovery company were great”

“I would have given 4.5 if that was an option, the rescue vehicle was later than the expected time, however this was due to traffic driven by road works elsewhere, which I was aware of. The driver was friendly and helpful.”

“When you are stood on the side of the road it needs to be really quick and easy to find the right number on the website to call so you go straight through to breakdown. I don't need to be dealing with a live chat, a portal that needs a password or being told that I'm calling out of hours!! The phone number needed is nearly impossible to find. Once you are talking to someone you then have to use another portal to book your recovery. Again when you are on the side of the road with none of your account details and a poor signal this just adds stress to an already difficult situation. I just need to find a phone number, ring someone and tell them where I am so they can get the vehicle recovered for me. Once the recovery vehicle arrived the service was seamless.”

“Overall very pleased with a quick and efficient recovery. The only observation I would make is that I was told to report my breakdown via the customer portal but there is no clear facility to do so on the portal so ended up reporting by phone. The operator DN6 was very helpful. Thank you.”

“Excellent service from the guy that came out to me, very helpful and explained exactly what had happened, a credit to your company. But the call service, gives you a link to go on, and when i went on it it didn't work, had to ring back which took more time, forget doing the link and book people in as an when they ring, if you do that your service would be excellent, but the link you give is rubbish.”

“The recovery company arrived within the time predicted, the engineer was polite, friendly and reassuring. He undertook temporary repairs which allowed me to drive the car. I was less happy with being directed to a website by the call centre to log the repair as my phone battery was dying and I had to phone again to ask them to log the repair rather than use the website.”

“Great service. Had a flat battery. Had not used the car for weeks because of the lockdown. Guy turned up within an hour and got the car going. No problem.”

“The whole episode was courteous. The saddest thing was the rescue team omitted to call me, explaining his delay. After 3 hours of waiting, yet being told it would be approximately 90 mins. until the rescue team came, I had to call back to One Call to find out what was happening. All was resolved when he did arrive - 10 mins in total. Very courteous and helpful.”

“I had a flat battery and my car was on my drive. Repair man got me going and adviced me to charge battery. Very pleased. Would have given 5 stars but had to wait longer than I was told.”

“I had a problem and it was sorted quickly and efficiently. You just forgot to let me know that because of covid The recovery guys were not taking passengers. Thank you.”
