I didn't like that when I'm calling about break down on a busy road you are demanding money first, why don't you add that £20 on my premium once you have rescued me. Then rescue driver took me to the garage from the garage I had to find my on way home. All of them my house and the garage was less than 4 miles in total but the driver said he only take me to the garage that's it. He said he can't drop me home. Uber cost me £9.00

After Breaking down on the M3 on the 19th June I made a call to One Call rescue . All my details where taken including additional costs the time was 6.50am . I was told my recovery driver would be with me within the next hour and a half . So I waited and waited the hour and half came and went I received no up dates so I rang one call again and was told your recovery driver will now be with you at 9.30 hopefully 🙏 . Again 9.30am came and went and I called one call to be told just wait . The recovery driver eventually turned up at 10.30 , 3hours 40 mins after I first made a call to ONE CALL . I don’t think this is really fare or exceptable .

Rescue team, when phone and went on the app to make sure they had the correct telephone number both saying they did.but when I hadn't heard anything I phones again, and they said they had messaged me ,so I checked my number with them again and they had the wrong number, stating my Rescue response at 11.15am and did not get pick up till 6.30pm

One Call Rescue very keen for you to report a breakdown on their app. We could not get the app to work and had to leave our car in a safe place. On returning a couple of days later to sort out the breakdown, again the App not working. Very frustrating trying to get this across to One Call, eventually we managed to get a recovery truck. Had to pay an extra £3 as the garage was 11 miles away. According to Google maps it is under 10 miles, I'm not worried about £3 but I wonder if others have been hit by an inflated charge... On the upside the recovery guys were great and I have subsequently joined the AA

Rang the call centre, told the operator what the problem was,he said I’d get a text when the breakdown guy would be with me. Two hours later nothing. Rang the call centre again, told them that no one contacted me.He said that he could see that I called but seems nothing was done about it. He took my details and within the hour rescue turned up. First time I’ve used the breakdown as well. Not a good start.

Poor service, lack of compassion/ understanding/disability criteria! Personal experience was awful, with no help in the understanding of situation, when I broke down. Robotic customer service that lacked any compassion/ disability and understanding of the given situation at the time. I would like to file this as a complaint and would appreciate a response please.

Hi, I would like to know express my concerns to how I felt I was treating during a breakdown of my car, in contacting yourselves during this stressful moment. I felt customer service reps were very un/compassionate, robotic in responses, listening skills limited, and not in the professional manner to which should be adhered too. I was a vulnerable client, with memory issues, neurodiverse, struggling to navigate what happened, this I did explain on x2 recordings made. I still was treated like.i was on a factory line, to the point of not understanding my situation. I spoke to X 2 of your agents , which were both similar in mannerisms, very robotic, without any room for explanations or listening to the bigger picture. I was stranded in an unknown place for a few hours, with the help of local businesses, that gave me some guidance. My details on second call were not passed on correctly to recovery, to which recovery ended up in different town. Eventually recovery were brilliant and helped ease the situation and guided me as to what to do next etc. The x2 agents in question need to be aware of the bigger picture, not just a factory line, to get to the next person. The amount of stress/ Anxiety this caused me is still ongoing a day after. If I was felt with respectfully and with compassion, this may not have been the case. I understand you are busy but very little customer care was given, in understanding the bigger picture! I would appreciate some feedback given to all from this, and hope they train for better in the future.

LP5 Was quite rude as I could hardly hear him being stuck next to a motorway When I asked him to speak slowly and clearly he blamed himself being Scottish which I found rather racist due to coming from Scottish heritage would I like to deal with him again NO

Nothing wrong with BP2, but initial with handling for recovery from M5 northbound was not good. Broke down and made my call for recovery to find i had to make payment of £50 and would be called back to make payment, after waiting half with no contact i called to find the initial report i made was not logged and my position wasn't recorded correctly even though I was stood next to the motorway marker. The agent took my details again and said recovery would be around 60-90 mins. Motorway traffic officer on site, no recovery we tracked the recovery agent who was going around in circles in the wrong area. Another call, and traffic safety officer contacted recovery company who had been given wrong recovery point and told it was outside their area, they did extend their area to recover me to safe area 3 hours after my initial call, not a nice experience, feeling very vulnerable with passenger on motorway hard shoulder.

Nothing went wrong. I gave 2 stars because the operative turned up when promised. However - while awaiting the breakdown van, the ferry office employees (I was parked at the ferry office in Yarmouth) jump-started my car and I didn't need assistance. I tried several times to ring to cancel the breakdown assistance and was unable to contact One Call. I had to wait for the breakdown van to arrive. This was very frustrating and a waste of time as I was missing an appointment elsewhere.

Not sorted. Flat battery (having been away abroad for a while) was checked, engine fired but did not start. Ascertained out of fuel, which was evidently a theft of fuel while I had been away. Rescue service should have included getting fuel and starting the car engine, which was not offered.

Disappointed that the recovery lorry was sent to the wrong location after completing correct details on online portal. Original recovery lorry was then cancelled and I had to wait for about 4 hour for the rearranged recovery lorry to arrive. Unhappy with the service I received.

Not so much with the recovery service, first company didn't come after an hour after time stated but I was at home so fine, second company came very quickly wasn't fixing car taking to garage and I was told many times when questioned that the cost of repair would be covered under insurance not sure who he was speaking to on phone to get this information but when I spoke with one call I'm told no I have to pay even when day before when I took out extra policy was told things like this were covered

The man sent to us from Unity Rescue was very rude to my partner from the word go. We had a flat battery but also had keyfob issues getting into the car. The man told us we were wasting his time as he should only be with us for 20 mins and it took alot longer. He also kept saying that my partner looked blank and did not understand what was being told to him. The man was very patronising in his tone. I hope that if we have to use One Call Rescue in the future that we never have this man again. Very angry and disappointed with this mans attitude.
