“Customer service isn’t great / lacking! Ordered a changing table and the next day the order was marked as complete, so thought this was a great sign! However it’s now been 12 days since the order was placed and I haven’t received delivery. I asked if there was a way to track/ get an ETA and was just simply told delivery would be 5-10 days from ordering. We’re now at 10 working days and still no news on delivery or any contact from a courier! I chose to order from here to support a smaller business rather than somewhere like John Lewis but in hindsight I probably have stuck to what I know!”

“Let down by their courier Federal Express who said they had tried to deliver but had not. I let Oliver’s know this in 3 occasions but only received one reply despite frequent emails Has to purchase another stair gate as needed for the weekend Finally arrived over a week after purchasing and paying for 3-5 day shipping No apology or offer from Oliver Disappointed”

Thank you for your review, and I’m really sorry to hear about your experience. We completely understand how frustrating this must have been, especially when you needed the stair gate in time for the weekend. I’m also sorry to hear that you felt communication from us was lacking — that’s certainly not the level of service we aim to provide. Having reviewed your order, it was placed on Sunday 5th April (Easter Sunday) and processed and dispatched on the next working day, Monday 7th April. As the Easter Bank Holiday weekend is not classed as working days, this did impact both processing and courier timeframes. The delay itself was unfortunately with the courier, who advised that delivery attempts were made on the 8th and 9th, with the parcel then successfully delivered on the 13th. We appreciate this is not the experience you expected, particularly after paying for a quicker delivery service. That said, we fully recognise this does not change the inconvenience caused, especially as you had to purchase an alternative in the meantime. We’re also sorry if our earlier communication did not properly reflect the situation or provide the reassurance you needed. If there’s anything further we can do to help, please don’t hesitate to get in touch with us directly — we’d be more than happy to assist.

“Brilliant! Saw this narrow & tall stair gate on the website. Perfect size for our caravan to keep our dogs inside but see they are okay. Quick delivery and great price. Definitely recommend.”

“Very wuick delivery and very quick resolution of a priblem related to damaged goods. However the baby gate was to go on a partition wall and was so powerful it has loosened the board of the wall so cant use it !”

As mentioned previously, the product description is correct in terms of compatibility — the Maxi-Cosi Pearl 360 Slide Pro Car Seat is only compatible with the Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix Slide Pro ISOFIX Base (BSR16380BAS), and not the Maxi-Cosi FamilyFix 360 Pro ISOFIX Base with SlideTech (BSR14856). We do appreciate, however, that the similarities in product names across the range can make this confusing when choosing the right setup. We’re glad to hear that you’ve been able to return the item. Once it has been received back with us and checked over, your refund will be processed in line with our returns policy.
