“I haven't actually received my order yet and there is no update as to when I should expect. I was emailed on the 15 July to say it's been dispatched and that's it”

“I rarely leave negative reviews, but I feel it’s important to share my experience. I contacted the company almost immediately after placing my order to request cancellation (I ordered the wrong pattern). Despite emailing at 9a, my order was still dispatched at 5pm. I refused delivery so the parcel was returned unopened, yet a fee was deducted from my refund for return postage. What disappointed me most was the customer service. I found Emma’s emails to be dismissive and lacking empathy, and lacking in communication for example I didn’t receive confirmation that my returned parcel had been received and that a refund was processed. I appreciate that policies exist, but I expected clearer communication and a more customer-focused approach, particularly given how quickly I tried to resolve the issue. Unfortunately, this experience means I ordered the same product in the correct pattern from a different company.”

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback, and I'm sorry to hear your experience didn't meet expectations. As discussed, we're unfortunately unable to offer free returns, which is why a return postage fee was deducted from your refund. As the parcel was refused at the point of delivery rather than returned to us afterwards, this was processed as a return to sender, which is why the fee applied. I appreciate this wasn't the outcome you were hoping for, especially given how quickly you tried to cancel the order. I do also want to apologise that you didn't receive confirmation once your returned parcel arrived back with us and your refund was processed, and I'll make sure it's picked up on with the team so it doesn't happen again.
