“As a first timer decent booking process. The only gripe is that if you make a request, as part of the booking process it would be useful to see what was said in the booking confirmation email (as a reminder for later what was requested). Other than that it was a pretty smooth process”

“I think my first booking with Offpeak must have been dealt with by a relatively new lady as the process seemed to take an inordinately extended period. Having said this, everyone on this and subsequent telephone conversations were very courteous and helpful. I am suitably impressed.”

“The Priest House, Castle Donnington, one night stay, 11 March 2016. Our third visit and the first under the new ownership of local businessman Stuart Garner. Efficient and polite front-of-house staff, comfortable room, excellent food and service at dinner. An adequate but slightly overpriced selection of wines. Alterations to the bar area and exterior patio are underway but did not spoil our enjoyment of this tranquil riverside location. The deal offered by offpeakluxury was good value and we especially welcomed the top quality bottle of champagne on ice ready for us on arrival.”

“The only reason for a good rather than a very good is because I couldn't find a simple search facility for a hotel by name. Once I found the hotel I wanted everything else was very straightforward.”

“Service from Off Peak Luxury was friendly and efficient. Only downside for us was having to pay so much up front. As we get older it's a concern in case some sudden ailment prevents us going on a break at last minute and cannot obtain a refund.Other than this aspect we found it a very good company to deal with. Our recent stay for our 50th Anniversary at Wellcombe Stratford was fabulous.”

Although we do take full payment in advance, we are actually by far the most flexible discount hotel site out there when it comes to cancellations and amendments. Up to 7 days before arrival you can change dates or hotels free of charge, or cancel fully and get a refund minus a small cancellation charge.

“Hotel in lovely setting in snowdonia, room over looking the gardens and estuary. Evening meal off the all-cart menu was fantastic would recommend. Staff very friendly, would stay there again very relaxing.”

“I bought the voucher as a gift for a colleague. You seem to have plenty of lovely venues to choose from which helped me decide to pick your company. The voucher arrived a bit late but you kindly e-mail through confirmation so it wasn't a problem. Getting a VAT receipt, or indeed any sort of meaningful receipt was a nightmare though! I suggest you automatically send confirmation of order and payment whenever a voucher is purchased.”

Thanks for you review. Confirmation of your voucher purchase was emailed to you shortly after it was purchased and the following day the voucher was sent to you, with a further email explaining that this had been done. We are happy to issue a VAT receipt upon request.

“Enjoyed our overnight stay at the hotel . The hotel and room was to a high standard and very clean. Staff very pleasent and helpful at the same time giving a relaxed atmosphere. The spa was also to a high standard. We had booked at the spa garden and was made to feel relaxed and special by the member of staff. The hotel was surrounded by lovely gardens and golf course. We will certainly be visiting the hotel and spa again.”
