Easy to find the part I wanted and the website was easy to use. I thought £10 for a small plastic lid for a wing mirror was pretty expensive. Even if it did include VAT and postage, it was only a couple of ounces of moulded black plastic, without any moving parts or further work needed.

Hi Torquil, Many thanks for your review, although it is supposed to be a review of the merchant (i.e. seller) and so not based on the item itself. It may be moderated for this reason. We do have to state that the price is listed clearly on the listings - therefore, if you were not happy with the price of the item you could have chosen not to go ahead with a purchase. The price of this aftermarket part was likely much cheaper than the genuine product from a main dealer and please do consider that even a small part like this needs to be ordered in from a supplier/manufacturer who charges a set price too. This light is ok doesn't fit as well as the broken one I had originally but it's just ok for the price I suppose.

Service was good, but the e-bay advert didn't make clear what features it had- it said it was an electric, heated door mirror, but failed to mention it was non-electric folding. Additionally, it said the cover was primed- it wasn't.

Hi David, Many thanks for your review, we're glad to hear the service you received was good. In terms of the description, we do feel this is a case of misunderstanding. When we list the products, we put all their features...in this case, electric, heated. However, as it does not have the power-folding function, we do not mention this. We only include information that the product has. Therefore, if it was a power-folding mirror it would explicitly mention this in the description and title. Unfortunately, if a buyer assumes the unit has a feature that is not mentioned, that is beyond our control as a seller. Furthermore, we did not receive any communication from you before the purchase was made - we would have happily confirmed the unit's features had we been asked but unfortunately this was not the case. We're sorry to hear of any issue with the mirror cover - it should be primed and ready for paint, as per the listing. However, once again we have not received any communication from you to mention this to us before we have read this review. We would always urge buyers to contact us if there is any issue, before leaving a review, as it will give us a chance to resolve the issue before any feedback is left. If you need to return the mirror unit, we would ask that you email us - sales@npautoparts.co.uk - we can then provide full details of our returns system. Part delivery time was excellent, very quick and efficient. Unfortunately, the part was incorrect, but NPAutoparts were very helpful in allowing a return to them.

Wrong item despatched. Had to wait over weekend to get correct item sent - once proof of posting of return item had been obtained. Otherwise replacement item could have been sent out on Friday. Instead I had to wait until Weds - another 4 days!

Hi Ken, We do apologise for the mix-up with your original order. Our supplier sent us product LL0214 instead of LL2014 so unfortunately it was a simple mistake but one that should have been picked up before it was sent to you. As per our standard terms and condition, the original item does need to be returned to us before we can send a replacement. This is standard industry practice but we did offer to send it more quickly if you could provide proof of returning the original item - we do this in order to provide a quicker service to our customers. We also gave a free upgrade to Parcel Force delivery for the replacement item, despite the original order being the slower Royal Mail delivery. Once again, this was offered as a way of resolving the issue as quickly as possible. Due to the large volume of orders we deal with, there will always be a few mistakes made along the way but we firmly believe it is how we deal with the mistakes that is the most important thing. On this occasion, we offered a free replacement, with quicker delivery than original paid for, and bypassing our usual terms and conditions by sending the replacement out before the original had been returned. We are aware that this may not make up for the original mistake but we do our best to rectify the error. We trust that the replacement has now arrived so we thank you for your cooperation and patience while we dealt with this issue. Kind regards,

Arrived but lamp reflector loose and rattling within lamp holder. Took one/two hours to get reflector anchored (nimble fingers through bulb mount and multiple attempts at align to adjusters) enough to get bulb in holder and secure before addressing unit to bumper mounts. Feel that reflector should have been securely fixed within light unit before unit was marketed. Not for the feeble hearted person.

Purchase was straightforward and the delivery was quick. Instructions are limited and there isn't sufficient information within package for easy installation.

Received cup holder no bother alas it was not really a cup holder but drinks can holder ! Unless you have a small travel cup it was no use. So basically waste of money.

I purchased a splash guard for a mountain bike. The guard was perfect but the rubber fixings were not long or strong enough and one failed. A cable tie was a perfectly adequate substitute.

Hi Bhups, Sorry to hear that you weren't happy with the service provided. We are an online company and as such, offer email and live chat support. We are aware that some buyers do prefer the more personal touch of a telephone conversation but we find the huge majority are happy with emailing these days. The live chat option also gives an instant response if required. In terms of the dispatch, we do have a note on many listings to state an estimated dispatch time. As your order came in late on a Thursday evening and we order this part in from a supplier, it was added to Friday's order and arrived on the following Tuesday so we could dispatch. We have a note that this item will be dispatched within 48 hours (2 working days) so it was slightly past this time, due to the exact timing of your order. We apologise if you weren't happy with this but we are unfortunately reliant on our suppliers providing the items asap and orders made late in the evening do have to be added to the next day's order. I ordered a Vauxhall Corsa D Mk3 5 Door 706 Left Hand NS Rear Light. This arrived after 4 days. The initial fit was poor at best 4/10. I had to modify the part by reducing the length of two plastic arms by around 2 mm each. The fit then improved to a point where I was reasonably happy. So in summary the cost of the part was reasonable at circa £31 (don't know how much a genuine Vauxhall part would cost but I suspect at least 50% more) but only order one if you are prepared to accept that it might require a slight modification - you need a small hack-saw.

We've sold dozens of this unit without hearing of this issue previously so it sounds like a one-off issue (and other buyers should not have to deal with this issue as you've stated). Seat covers described as "premium"...actually average quality at best. No English instructions (although every other language) , poor quality fixing hooks , thin material. Other comparable items on Ebay 40% cheaper....

No problem with the purchase and delivery but disappointed with the quality of the product. Required some work to allow for correct operation of mirror adjustment lever and whole door mirror generally feels a bit fragile !

Problems with product which NP palmed off to their supplier and tried to tell me distance selling regs didn't apply, which they clearly did. After some effort managed to get agreement to a refund (apparently NP supplier not prepared to refund as my transit van was slightly different to the normal transit - well done Ford I've got a one-off!) and this was dealt with swiftly.

The tailored mats we sell are a custom made product and therefore are not covered by the Distance Selling Regulations (now known as Consumer Contracts Regulations). If you look these regulations up, it does state that any custom made products are not covered as they are part of the exemptions. (http://www.which.co.uk/consumer-rights/regulation/consumer-contracts-regulations) - the exemptions are listed under the 'Cancelling Goods' section. However, we did recognise that there had been some kind of error on our supplier's part with this template and, despite them not agreeing with this outcome, we agreed to accept the return of the mats for a full refund. We were sorry that this order didn't work out on this occasion but we believe we did go above and beyond our duty as a seller to resolve this issue. Kind regards,
