“the website is informative but I wanted to discuss the best padlock for my needs. However, I was unable to speak with anyone as all the advisors were engaged and my call was not returned even though I left details twice. Poor customer service indeed.”

“The staff were very helpful. I had an issue with a delivery delay and it would have been nice to be advised of the reason for the delay rather than have to call but when I did call I got the best customer service. The issue that caused the delay was outside their control so I understood. I just feel it would be helpful to be a little more proactive in advising customers if there is a delay.”

Thank you. These marine combination padlocks were designed to be used in coastal areas. Remember like all of us, they love a bit of TLC from time to time too. Use a padlock lubricant (not WD40) to help keep in tip top condition.

“After a lot of time on the internet and drowning in information, I called "Nothing But Padlocks" and outlined my needs for padlocks in a harsh weather environment. After some intelligent questions by the advisor, I was instantly directed to a recommended padlock that would do the job and invited to look at this and maybe compare it to others on the site. I called back to check if a different spec padlock would still do the job and after discussion got confirmation that they had 10 keyed-alike units in stock. I ordered at 3:30 and they were delivered at 12:15, the next day. It's refreshing to talk to a knowledgeable human and took less time than I had already spent on the web!”

We were able to talk through your requirements and answer your questions and we even discussed the best way to maintain your marine padlocks. Although our deadline for same-day dispatch is 2pm, when possible we do try to dispatch orders after this time when courier collecting allows for processing. Super happy you got your padlocks so quickly.

Thank you for your feedback it really does help. We do understand how disappointed you are that we are no longer able to offer engraving for single padlocks. Due to the setup of the machinery, our locksmith reluctantly had to put a minimum quantity of 20 units in place. I am pleased we were still able to supply your brass padlock and hope you were able to achieve the engraving locally.

“Love their Marine Padlocks. We use them on our garden gates and they take a brutal beating to the sea weather on our island in the Hebrides. After a very wet winter, it was no problem opening the lock and no signs of rust!!! A big plus out here!! The service and posting time is spot on with this company. Would highly recommend.”
