The reason for this was that we were actively trying to source an alternative item of stock for you, rather than cancelling the order immediately. Unfortunately, this resulted in a delay in updating you, which I accept is not ideal. I also apologise for the inconvenience this caused, particularly as it left you short of gifts and waiting for your refund to be processed. “Slow informing me a product I ordered was out of stock, never bothered sending the ones that were in stock. Leaving me short of gifts that I then had to go and purchase elsewhere and waiting for funds to be credited. Poor communication”
