Ordered a pair of trail shoes two weeks ago, firstly they sent the wrong size which I had to go out of my way to return and then the replacements never arrived so it looks like I’m £125 out of pocket for the next week or so. Apologies are all well and good but they don’t fit on my feet and they don’t refill my wallet. Won’t be using them again.

In this rare unfortunate instance, the manufacturer had put a UK12 in a UK11 box, so there was no detecting this issue from the warehouse upon dispatch. You agreed to the correct size being sent in replacement, so no refund would have been processed. We sent a free return postage label immediately and the replacement was sent as soon as you provided proof of dispatch of the incorrect shoe. 29th August - Original order dispatched 31st August - Return label sent 2nd September - Replacement sent Apologies for any inconvenience, we passed the feedback to Altra. I was very disappointed with the shoes as they arrived. They had a very different feel to shoes of the same make and model I'd bought before (hoka challenger 6). Far less support and traction and just generally felt like lower quality shoes. I'm disappointed that NorthernRunner would allow for their customers to buy shoes that might cause injury or just loss of enjoyment.

My parcel was never recieved. Evri emailed saying that the parcel had been delivered but it hadnt been collected and there was nothing left at the door or at the surrounding buildings. There was also no picture. I have contacted evri and they have reccommended to speak to you about the next steps. I am hoping for a refund or possible replacement. Thankyou

In the middle of all the postal strikes. This company managed to pass my order to DPD instead of Evri. No idea when it will arrive. First time i have placed an order with Northern Runner and my last. Massively disappointed with this service.

In this instance the postal strikes were with Royal Mail and Evri have a terrible track record. DPD would be the best possible service to switch to at extra cost to us and it looks like your item arrived. I do not see a return for your order number so hopefully you enjoyed your item. Hello, I haven’t received my order that I placed on 10th December (today is 22nd). I haven’t received an information from the courrier (which I was told is EVRI) about delivery. I’m disappointed as my brother won’t get his present in time for Xmas but I thought I was ordering in plenty of time. Please can you let me know when I can expect the delivery? Thank you, Jess

I have not received my item, no attempt from NorthernRunner to contact the Royal Mail for an expected delivery date, just a generic, “there’s postal strikes email” which I haven’t received from other companies. Won’t be using again.

Used northern runner twice. First time I went to the shop and was sold a completely inappropriate pair of shoes on their advice. Second time I ordered through the website and was sent a completely wrong pair. Won’t ever use again

So the shoes arrived but size 6 was far too small... I then had to pay £9 to send them back recorded delivery... so lost £9 and got nothing...shouldn’t have to pay for returns... rubbish experience..bad for customers.

Appalling is all I can say. Ordered for next day delivery on a Friday and that never happened. Message from courier to say they would be delivered on the Monday..... they weren't so asked for cancellation of order. They turn up on the Wednesday. Have to now wait till Monday for courier pick up. Will definitely not be using again or offering a recommendation.

I’ve tried to contact the Newcastle shop but they never answer the phone. If you leave a voicemail they don’t get back to you. Disappointing customer service.

Hello, The damage you have pictured simply isn't evidence of normal usage and looks more like some extreme abrasion of some kind. There is no circumstance where we would refund a pair of shoes in such a state. However, if stitching or factory defaults are found 100% of our brands would be happy to replace their product, including New Balance.

Hello, You ordered the wrong size shoe in this instance and wanted a free return. Then you continued to threaten the customer service team "Last chance, either you pay for the return or I'll leave negative reviews online that you failed on any kind of customer service. Please let me know asap." We will never respond to threats with free returns or anything else for that matter.

très mécontent de découvrir que je devais payer 33 euros de frais de douane, absolument pas prévus, surtout compte tenu du prix déjà élevé de ces chaussures. Depuis je recois un SMS quotidien de Chronopost qui me demande la peiment et l'option de renvoi à l'expéditeur ne fonctionne pas, vraiment très décu, je souhaite etre remboursé dès que possible de mon achat, qu'au final je ne recevrai jamais

Unfortunately customers from within the EU continue to order items from the UK without considering the new customs duties. This is not an issue with any UK retailer, but EU rules.

Very disappointed with these trainers, they are a tight fit and not comfortable, they don't appear to have air soles for walking/running and are funny definition of extra wide fit. I should have returned them before 3 outdoor uses. I shall have to look elsewhere for a suitable pair of trainers that don't aggrivate old muscle injuries.
