This is a tough review to score - NordicTrack themselves were ok, providing a timely refund when asked. But their delivery sub-contractor (Panther) is one of the worst customer experiences I have ever had the misfortune to come across. First, the delivery was cancelled after the delivery slot arrived, I was given 4 different and incompatible reasons for why they couldn't deliver the order that they had confirmed the timing of just hours before. I was on hold for over an hour. I was promised a call-back within 10mins that never materialised in a 2 hour wait. Shocking But fair play to NordicTrack, it took about 3mins for them to process the return, politely.

After the initial mis-spelling of our name and incorrect house number our Treadmill C700 was delivered to us. It was easy to assemble and everything works well on it. The problem I have with it is the noise which is created by the belt rubbing across the guiders. It is very loud and not the sort of thing that you could drown out with music. Even the neighbour said that it was very loud. We will be getting in touch with Customer Services to see if anything can be done about this. Roger Hlibkowycz

Hello Roger, Thank you for your honest review. I'm very sorry to hear that when my colleague put the details through it was done incorrectly which I believe was amended with the carriers. In relation to the noise issue generated by the belt, I'm glad this has now been resolved with customer services and I hope the machine is serving you well.

The NordicTrack treadmills perform well. However, the delivery and assembly aspects need to be improved. It needs 2 people to assemble the various parts, and it took us nearly 8 hours, allowing for a lunch and tea break; although we had a pretty good idea, since we had also done it previously about 5 years ago on another NordicTrack treadmill. It would be better, if NordicTrack provided a DVD showing how to assemble the various parts, and the typical errors to look out for; the paper instructions are not clear enough.

Our treadmills can be assembled by one person but I know during parts of the assembly it is beneficial to have an extra pair of hands especially when holding the uprights or attaching the console. We try make the instructions as user friendly as possible for the assembly of the item so I'm sorry to hear that these may have not met your satisacaction. However I'm hoping you are continuing to enjoy your Treadmill!

For the price that i paid for the running machine (Commercial 2450) i did expect a higher quality item. the fit and finish isnt brilliant and in some parts it doesnt line up correctly. Putting the machine together is a bit of a chore. However, after checking all of the reviews before buying, i knew this was going to be the case so was ready for it. Anyway, im not bothered by the difficulties in putting it together. Its a two-man job and very heavy. Heres the crux of the matter, in regards to the negative comments I have on it. The belt is not aligned and was slipping when i started. I fixed this by turning the bolts as per the instructions. This has fixed the slipping but the belt is slightly off to the right now and cant be brought back without the slipping occurring again. Attention to detail isnt great, again. Once you start running on it, i must say that it is very stable and will, hopefully last me years. The running experience is somewhat hampered by the constant creaks, knocks and squeaks that come out of this thing. "Whisper quet" it aint. The racket that this thing makes is incredible. However, i would say, worth it. I would say this as i have spent all the money and its a hassle to pay to send in back and disassemble it etc and also because at its core is a very good running machine. With regards tot he IFit system. That is brilliant. Excellently implemented. There are a few bugs with the software but thats not Nordictrack's fault. This bring me onto the Android tablet with access to the web. LOL LOL LOL LOL. No chance. I think it must be running Android 1.0 as its soooo slow and accessing any website is pointless as it doesnt display it properly. Not even the ifit site. If youre going to include it as a USP then i think it has to be a LOT better implemented than it is. Also, the "suspension" that is part of the machine is an interesting thing. There is nothing in the instructions about it but i can safely tell you that, it doesnt work. Makes no difference if its on or off. Exactly the same. Weird, but not a deal breaker for me. In summary, a great running machine. Let down by the quality of the fit and finish and also by the tech that isnt much cop. Definitely wouldnt pay the full price for it.

Alas, I have had wto of your Skiers and their beautiful dark wood finish in the past but the one I recently bought and only today was able to open the box to find to my great disappointment that its wood finish is a horrible light yellowish colour and nothing like the pictures in your Skier section of your website. Accordingly you are making very efficient arrangements to collect it and refuund the £599.00.

I am confused by all the programmes and cannot find out what is in them and there are no levels. So that has put me off using them.

Hello Cressida, its Josh from NordicTrack. Thank you for your review. Our programmes that are built in the machines are based on calorie, intensity and performance. You are able to scroll through the programmes and the console will show what each one will offer. For example one programme could be a short duration incline programme. Let's start with delivery team, they were totally inexperienced in manual handling large equipment and dropped it out the van! They then kept turning it over on its sides trying to gain some balance . If this wasn't enough they removed all packaging outside by the road after deciding it really would not squeeze past my car despite my offer to move it ... then realising they couldn't lift it enlisted the help of the plasterer working on my house to aid them with carrying in. Some of the treadmill parts were broken, others covered in cosmetic scratches , chips and marks. However mechanically it appeared a very sound, solid machine. Great size running deck, does seem daft to have buttons for TVs on console though when I haven't been able to find Nordic tracks TV under their accessories to purchase. I maybe wrong but I can't work that out myself! IFIT is a fab tool and makes it all more interesting when doing a workout . Seems cheap plastic for a pricey treadmill and service could be a lot better .

The Commercial 2450 is very well build. Solid, quite, smooth running. Very similar to others in the price range so it's the extras that set it apart. Inclines to 15 degrees and more unusual declines 3 degrees. The main area that caught my eye and sold me on this product was the electronic gadgetry. Unfortunately this is very poorly implemented. This next bit will not make the review as it seems that NordicTrack don't what to know what make us sad... look at the server question... the 10" Android touch pad is so locked down you can't adjust the screen brightness. You can't add favourites to the browser and are stuck with American content.... you are a global company are you not.... there is more but as I said... I doubt it will make the review. If you are interested... get in touch.

I've been extremely disappointed with the experience I've had with NordicTrack. Their courier company was appalling and when my item arrived it was faulty. Getting a satisfactory resolution to the situation seems to be extremely difficult.

The product is just what I wanted. Oh, and the seat is much more comfortable than those on the machines that you normally find at a gym. It would have been helpful to put the serial number on top of the chassis rather than under it and to provide a manual in English. Customer service were very helpful and I have received the English manual by email. One small point, as I have arthritis in my hands, I found adjusting the pedal straps very difficult and had to get my partner to help out - but I guess most people would not have this problem. There was a mix-up over the delivery. I had arranged for the machine to be installed but an installer was not present. However this was rectified very quickly with a new team at a time to suit me - again very good customer service.

The reason we place the decal sticker out of sight as its generallyjust something you need once and would detract from the overall aesthetics of the product if it was permanently in view. Product was as per description but be prepared for a complicated assembly process and ensure you have a helper available for the heavy components. Warranty is a concern though as I have located the treadmill in my garage which has been converted into a gym but on completing the online warranty it advised that the product is not covered for garage use. This is a concern as the humidity, temperature and conditions in my gym / garage are more controlled than indoors.

As per our user manuals and our warranty terms and conditions we do not advise any products to be kept in any out house/garage type of environments. I do understand and sympathise as I know that customer do have heated controlled environments etc however we still do not advise this. In relation to our assembly we do try make our assemblies as user friendly as possible. I can understand it can be daunting when opening the box to see the many parts however as long as you had followed the user manual as precise as you can then there should be no issues. I hope you are enjoying your machine!

Purchased the NordicTrack Elite 1500 treadmill online from nordictrack.co.uk. Easy enough to place the order. Once the order is placed, they don't appear to update the status of the order online any further. When the 2-4 day shipping was about to expire I gave them a call and sure enough it was due to ship the next day. The product arrived well protected in the packaging two days later. I was also contacted by the courier the day before delivery. There was a small part missing, which does not effect the operation of the treadmill (a heal that is attached to the underside of the frame) so we are awaiting the part from the service company. So nearly a month in and all is going well with the calorie burn! Incidently, my order still says "processing" on the website. So the only suggestion I would make is that if the order process on the website is kept up to date, it is a good way of keeping the customer informed of progress.

Our website is not set up to autonomously update itself but we are happy to provide any delivery details or despatch details via telephone or email. Hi, having read reviews on the best treadmills I decided to purchase a Nordik Track 17.5. I decided to purchase straight from the supplier to miss the middle man in case there were any problems. Having purchased from icon health and fitness the treadmill came with the ifit module. The ifit module did not work. No fault of Nordik Track. The fan on the treadmill to cool the user does not work which is a complaint. After lots of phone calls and emails to icon health and fitness they have replaced the ifit module and have promised a new console so I have a working fan. Moan over. I am really impressed with the treadmill it is a fantastic piece of equipment very sturdy and a pleasure to work out on. I would certainly purchase another product from Nordik Track in fact I'm looking at the cycling machines. I work in a technical industry so know problems arise and we get over them. Keep up the quality work. Well done. Neil.

The treadmill that was ordered is good and of high quality. I recommend it. The delivery service however, was flawed and the customer relations response inadequate. The Delivery service driver and colleague were unable to take the machine up the stairs-said too heavy and the machine would damage my property for which they would take no responsibility. Another delivery time was fixed and I had to provide 3 builders to assist the process. Tried discussing same with customer relations and when I asked to speak to a person in authority was refused as follows Quote As per our conversation today, please note that you can send a formal complaint to our Customer Relations Manager at Unit 1D The Gateway, Fryers Way, Silkwood Park, Ossett, Wakefield WF5 9TJ. I am sorry that I am unable to provide a contact number as this is confidential and for internal use only. However, the Customer Relations Manager will reply to any complaint in due time and we take into consideration any feedback from our customers. Unquote I had to contact the US management and a week later was called by a uk based helpful customer services person. In fairness she then dealt with my complaint as best she could and efficiently offered a modest compensatory gesture which I accepted. In short if you are purchasing a large machine I would not go directly to Nordic but to John lewis or Amazon who have a more serious approach to customer relations and would I suspect have dealt with the problem more efficiently. Having spent around £1000 on a machine and paid extra for delivery and installation to be told that I cannot speak to the manager and that the number is confidential shows an unbelievably cavalier approach to the customer. Bearing in mind that the time taken for 2 deliveries and additional costs of providing 3 builders took the cost to close to £1500 I would hope that icon / Nordic take note and improve their service.

I believe there were communication issues about the amount of installers would be required for your machine. As the item was going upstairs it would require a 3 man service so I do apologise for the delay in the installation and delivery. In your review you are correct about our complaints procedure. I believe you were given a response to your complaint within the time frame mentioned and this has now been resolved. Furthermore I believe our customer services were able to give you any information you needed about the complaint made. I can assure you we take customer services very seriously especially in relation to complaints made. I'm hoping you are enjoying your machine.

Had no problems with the treadmill, it's really good, however I've had problems with the iFit - getting it to do the live workouts etc. I did contact yourselves about this and was told somebody would call back but nobody did. Have now managed to hook into Google streetview but really wanted to do live video workouts. From internet searches it looks like everyone has problems doing this. Could do with a handbook on setting the iFit up and describing how to use it's features. So in summary the treadmill is really good the iFit is really bad. I'm considering returning the iFit for a full refund. Regards Phil and jackie May
