“I've had two pairs of my own frames re lensed very happy with the service. Unfortunately my second pair were not as tidy finished as the first but would recommend as excellent value for money.”

“First time ordering glasses from Newlenses. Experience was good, easy online ordering. Received the wrong colour frame. Send an Email about it, quick reply with kind replacement. Have not receive replacement at present, so I reserve review on that. In all quiet please.”

“This was my first use of the system. I ordered re-glazing of a pair of rimless pair of glasses due to change in my prescription. I chose the single vision (intermediate distance, eg. for computer use) lenses. There was not adequate information on the website what that means, however I chose this because I thought it was something I needed. I also let the automatic selection of PD=63mm in my prescription. The glasses arrived promptly, however, they were causing me dizziness and I just could not see well. I contacted the customer service by email, explaining the problem. In the meantime, I measured my PD correctly. I requested for replacement with single vision long distance (e.g. driving). The company accepted to do this free of charge and without arguments. I sent the glasses back to the company and received re-glazed glasses for the 2nd time. Everything was fine the 2nd time. I recommend this company and will use it again in the future if I need to. I give it 4 stars because the website needs to have much more information for each of the options on offer e.g. types of lenses, colours, adaptivity to light etc.”

“Easy to navigate website with good descriptions of the glasses and sizing. Received my two pairs of glasses, a reading pair and one for computer work promptly , I was delighted with the quality and excellent price. Communication was clear and concise throughout the entire process, would certainly use Newlenses again.”

“My new lenses are very good. The service received was good. The quality of the lenses is very good. Materials used and workmanship is very good. Overall, I will recommend this firm and use them again myself. The reason for not giving 5 stars is that it took around 2 weeks to receive my glasses back.”

The Elite Varifocal digital freeform lens, together with Transitions, is a complex lens so it does take around 7-10 working days to complete due to the many manufacturing processes involved. “I ordered glasses from the petite range which were too small when they arrived. I contacted Newlenses to let them know but thought it was my fault for not measuring properly. Andy replied and offered to make me new regular glasses for free. Brilliant customer service.”
