“I got my Calvin Klein frames re glazed with a new perscription for transition lens - coated with reactolight tint. They took a couple of weeks - ordered just before New Years eve. The price was fantastic - the glasses are good - thou i'm still adjusting to the new perscription - but cannot fault the service.”

“Very smooth and efficient service, and good help from the support team. The only thing missing was a customs service VAT 407 form, which would have allowed me to reclaim the VAT on the glasses at the airport before I left the country. Apparently this is a voluntary scheme, but it would have saved me a lot of money! Have a look at: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/vat-tax-free-shopping-retailers-checklist-vat-407-notes”

“I've used Newlenses twice now after finding great frames on holiday in Italy the first time and some discount designer frames at TKMaxx. The turnaround time is less than a week. Only downside is that you have to sign for them when they come back with no option for delivery instructions.”

“Firstly can I say that for value these glasses are second to none. Frames, premium varifocal lenses, ant-glare/scratch/uv coating and delivery came to £110!! That's ridiculous when I was quoted between £250-350 through a budget high street chain. If I have any issue it is communication. It took 2 weeks and in that time I had to contact them as there were no updates until "Your order has been dispatched". A couple of updates and an estimated time for dispatch would be really helpful. I feel 100% use New Lenses again”

“They did a good job and clearly have good intentions. I am pleased with the glasses. They were helpful when contacted. Communication was generally good BUY they could improve by stating a delivery time at the outset (and meeting or improving on it, obviously).”

“Very pleased with my new glasses and pleased with the service I received but I feel New Lenses good do a few things to improve 1) have some genuine specials offers on (like Glasses Direct, a good company with very competitive prices) 2) Keep the customer updated during to sales to purchase stage)”

“Have had two pairs of glasses reglazed by this company. On ordering the first pair, the website didn't work properly with Paypal, so the order had to be carried out via email. But once sorted, the order took only three days from receipt to turn round. With the second pair, the website worked perfectly, but it took 10 days (13 days after posting 1st class) before I received the glasses. This may have been because they required a sunglass tint, but there was no mention of this. Prices are good, quality of work is good, but admin leaves a bit to be desired, hence four not five stars.”

“I chose to use my old frames, had them for 2 years and felt they were still comfy to wear, so chose newlenses to reglaze. Apart from misunderstanding of the price for 2 pairs and they did come back, with loose arms, the service was quick. Although i didnt give them much time, my fault really, them pushed my glasses to the front so could have them back by the Tuesday. I will use again.”

“Happy with the two pairs of glasses I chose as they were a good price. The customer service was very helpful as I had not completed a prescription on-line before. The glasses arrived in a couple of days so a quick turnaround.”

“I had three pairs of frames re-glazed for just over a hundred pounds, compared with any high street shops, which do not reglaze anyway, this is tremendous value if you were to factor in the cost of actually purchasing new frames as well.”

“Very helpful staff. They sorted a problem over delivery to their factory and kept me informed. Good service, but took more prompting on my part than I would have expected. Overall, the result was excellent. The timing thing was probably a one off.”
