“Lost a lense out of my everday glasses,waited over 2 weeks from my opticians to supply new glasses.Sent prescription and frames to new lenses friday pm,recieved back Tuesday am.What more to say,excellent Thanks”

“After a spend of over £130 on new lenses I can only express disappointment at the quality. Reassured by 'Newlenses' that they were to be of the best optics and not cheap imports, the result has been poorer than a four year old pair of high street prescription glasses I have and only just about useable. Held off on getting a second pair done and will now sort a pair out on the high street when opticians are open again for normal business, as more convenient to get quality issues dealt with if the result is not satisfactory and a better chance of getting professional advice..”

Unfortunately this is the first I've heard about it, and I am surprised as the lenses we supplied you were the top of the range Kodak Unique HD Digital Freeform Varifocal lenses (https://www.kodaklens.co.uk/lenses/kodak-unique-hd-lens/). These are superb lenses and we have had extremely good feedback from other customers. “What a hidden gem, perfect new lenses in my frames-really prompt reply to my email when I sent in my prescription, marvellous service all round. Took the stress out of replacing my lost glasses during lockdown. I’ll be using you again, thank you 😉”

“A surprisingly pleasing and attentive service. Often when you choose an online retailer, your concern is that the low cost service may result in a rushed speed-before-quality approach. “Very speedy service but paid for a more premium package and yet the lenses just get filthy stupidly quick. More than I have ever experienced before. Supposed to have anti glare on but do not, supposed to be anti scratch but are not. Seem to be cheap materiel used.”

Hi, thank you for taking the time to write a review. I'm very sorry to hear that you were unhappy with the quality of the lenses. I can assure you that your lenses had all coatings applied, including anti scratch, anti glare and the UV400 filter. We *only* use top quality branded lenses such as Essilor, Kodak etc.

“I was a little bit unsure about having my glasses reglazed and did a lot research and chose "new lenses" as they were an established business and an independent. I made the right choice and was very pleased with the contact and support they gave. I would certainly recommend this business to anyone I know and would use them again.”

“Very good customer service, Excellent glasses, best ones I have ever had for seeing with even though it is the same prescription as my old glasses supplier. These ones appear to work far better then any other glasses I have ever had. You will now be my main glasses supplier.”

“I bought the frames as new lenses were the first company that offered everything I was looking for in the lockdown period. Thin lenses good looking frames and quick delivery, my glasses had broke during lockdown n this was frustrating that I couldn’t go out n reorder new frames. I bought them with no expectations just as a second pair however I’m pleasantly surprised n will most likely wear them full time now going forward. Really love the design the lenses and quick speed on delivery. Defo reorder from here again soon and Wud definitely recommend them to friends family n others”

“I ordered varifocals and also have astigmatism - 1.67 thin lenses and they came very quickly (about a week) glazed in a pair of sports RX Inserts for sunglasses. NewLenses were the cheapest I could find for this AND I got a new customer discount! The quality however is not in doubt and they are very good lenses with good clarity at all distances and a good field of view. I would definitely recommend them. Communications were also very prompt during the ordering process. I am a very happy customer.”
