“They are SO light to wear and they don't dominate my face a full frame glasses do. Also they were priced very reasonably because they are stainless steel. In the past, all I could find were Titanium specs which were well over a hundred pounds when bifocal lenses were fitted to them.”

“This is the second time I've used Newlenses and these are my first pair of varifocals. I'm finding them excellent. The ordering process was straightforward and Andy in customer services was very helpful indeed. In summary, an excellent service and a quality product at a very reasonable cost. I'd happily recommend Newlenses.”

“I placed an order via Newlenses.co.uk to re-glaze my existing glasses and sunglasses. The order process was quick and straightforward. I then had to send my existing frames to Newlenses.co.uk so the new lenses could be fitted. This was at my own cost - I would have preferred it if Newlenses.co.uk could have sent me a postage paid box to enable me to send the frames to them at no additional cost (as many other suppliers do). Once I had sent them the lenses, it took just over 2 weeks for the re-glazed glasses to be received. Fortunately I had a spare pair of glasses otherwise this would have been a problem. I would really expect to receive the new glasses within a week, regardless of how complex the lenses are. I also found that it was quite difficult to get a order update from Newlenses.co.uk other than a generic "Order processing" response. I have a feeling that customer services are simply e-receptionists and would have preferred to speak to someone who actually worked for the company. I did however receive an email response within a day to advise me of my order progress after speaking to customer services. Overall, I was very pleased with the quality of my newly re-glazed glasses when they finally arrived but Newlenses.co.uk falls short of achieving a 5 star rating for the above reasons.”

“I had some Glasses made in the States that have been very good but as ever I broke them! I was not returning for some time ( for work) so i google searched and NewLens came up. It was great to see the range but I was not sure of the prescription. I called them and they said they could test to check the strength of the broken ones. - well a couple of weeks later after I choose my frames I have my New glasses - which, if I had not had them, I would not have been able to type this! - Thank you NewLens it will not be long for another pair i am sure.”
