Firstly once purchased the courses are hard to locate and not clear where they are to be found on your personalised dashboard. It took half a day and a phone call with your customer service team who was not exactly understanding. The slides are really informative but long winded and lack clear short had bullet points to ensure they are memorable. The test questions, well they are really confusing. The questions are worded clumsily and the answers are not easily understandable and very similar in their options. I think there are clear improvements to be made!

Thanks so much for your feedback on our online training courses. We really do care about our customers’ experiences and immediate action has been called upon to review the points that you have raised. The contents of the courses are lengthy and very detailed as set out by our Primary Authority partners; the courses were developed and co-created by third party EHO consultants in conjunction with Greenwich Environmental Health Department, this is to ensure that our trainees will become more than equipped with the knowledge that they need. The multiple choice examination questions are populated randomly to ensure a fair assessment is conducted. We always welcome calls from our trainees and members and commit to doing our best to investigate these issues if they do occur, so please do get back in contact with us if further support is needed.

The training for this module was very long and it was frustrating that some of the pages stuck I had to attempt test several times as it kept stalling on question 7 and then timing me out. Got there in the end but it was a struggle!

Needs updating desperately - was probably relevant going back to work in the summer but much less relevant in 2021. For example, there is a vaccine now and how we operate will be completely different to how it was last summer especially considering everything we have learned in terms of effective operations since then.

I’m a very fast reader so found the pace of the course very slow

A lot of spelling mistakes throughout the course and through the exam. Some of the questions during the exam were difficult to understand what you were looking for.

Although very straightforward to follow and informative, some of the information was slightly outdated (e.g. there's no vaccine) - as the covid-19 situation is constantly changing I understand this but feel this course needs regular updating. I also found that during the test, one of the questions had the same answer option twice, worded slightly differently yet only one of them was correct.

If you don’t pass and need to read through it all again to get a pass next time you should be able to go back to the slideshow again, which you can’t. After you’ve done a test you can only redo the test or come back later.

Good training - although I found the slides a bit slow.

The course is thorough but lengthy and unless you brush up on the first few modules, you may well have forgotten what they were when you take the test. I used firefox as a browser and it worked ok but I kept getting a notification that this browser would not work and sometimes it crashed fully or it lost sound, in both cases I closed the browser and started again (modules that is).

It's not very mac friendly doesn't work with safari browser.

The area needs to be larger in order to read without having to move up and down every slide. This is monotonous and distracting. There isn't a huge amount of text and it could easily fit into one static slide at a time.

The content and explanations of the course are very good. But it got stuck in some levels and I had to repeat the level from the beginning.

The Covid 19 test is too vague and repetitive. It’s wooly and below standard The test questions are too open for misinterpretation in an area that is already unclear in the public and business arenas. Rewrite with clear subheadings for guidance and testing 1. Personal safety a. Importance of masks in the work place b. Safe use of shared equipment c. Understanding social distancing i. Indoors ii. Outdoors d. Hand sanitiser – when to use – frequency 2. Safety of co-workers a. Your impact on them i. Share equipment use ii. Cleanliness of individual workstations 3. Customer safety a. Clear communication / signage of how your individual business works b. Importance of signage for shared facilities i. Toilets ii. Payment points iii. Order points iv. You should produce a set of NCASS signage for members to use so that customers get used to one set of signage – the “highway code” of catering – downloadable and free. 4. Track and trace options a. Enforcement b. Options available 5. Virus danger points a. Staineless steel surfaces b. Handles / knobs c. You raise this area all through your slides and the test doesn’t refer to it 6. Deliveries a. Be specific or don’t raise it and make it a confusing area, certainly don’t test on it when the information you are giving doesn’t sit with the Gov guidelines – if you are going to test on it – test on specifics – plastics vs cardboard b. To suggest a quarantine area for deliveries of 3 days? The course is not structured – it is far too repetitive and the test answers are far too subjective It needs a re-write, and given the frequency of change at them moment this could be seen as a great update from NCASS

Some of the questions asked for at least 4 answers but if you chose more than the system wouldn't function. Some multi choice answers were slightly ambiguous and some were completely insane! I am a retired teacher and even the one question I got wrong was so ambiguous that even I found it difficult as it had been mentioned that it could be a measure but didn't score on the test as one.

The training is very informative and simple to understand but unfortunately for some reason most pages on each module didn’t upload correctly many time showing blank pages. I got stuck so many time while swapping from a page to another in all the 8 modules. The red “help button” at the top doesn’t work at all! Very frustrating.

On several occasions I had to redo certain modules as it hadn't accepted that I had! There were also occasions when however hard I tired, it would not allow me to put in any answer.
