The Covid 19 test is too vague and repetitive. It’s wooly and below standard The test questions are too open for misinterpretation in an area that is already unclear in the public and business arenas. Rewrite with clear subheadings for guidance and testing 1. Personal safety a. Importance of masks in the work place b. Safe use of shared equipment c. Understanding social distancing i. Indoors ii. Outdoors d. Hand sanitiser – when to use – frequency 2. Safety of co-workers a. Your impact on them i. Share equipment use ii. Cleanliness of individual workstations 3. Customer safety a. Clear communication / signage of how your individual business works b. Importance of signage for shared facilities i. Toilets ii. Payment points iii. Order points iv. You should produce a set of NCASS signage for members to use so that customers get used to one set of signage – the “highway code” of catering – downloadable and free. 4. Track and trace options a. Enforcement b. Options available 5. Virus danger points a. Staineless steel surfaces b. Handles / knobs c. You raise this area all through your slides and the test doesn’t refer to it 6. Deliveries a. Be specific or don’t raise it and make it a confusing area, certainly don’t test on it when the information you are giving doesn’t sit with the Gov guidelines – if you are going to test on it – test on specifics – plastics vs cardboard b. To suggest a quarantine area for deliveries of 3 days? The course is not structured – it is far too repetitive and the test answers are far too subjective It needs a re-write, and given the frequency of change at them moment this could be seen as a great update from NCASS
