“Was able to complete quickly - good straight forward information and the quizzes enabled you to check if the information had sunk in. Just one suggestion though, it would be good to utilise different learning styles as I did find myself dozing off at some points, so I'm not sure how well it would to keep my younger staff concentrating. Maybe some videos or 'doing' learning games would be great, to break it up a bit?”

“The slides were informative and well laid out. The only downside was that the slides stuck quite often and the button for this wouldn't work. The page needed to be refreshed and ofter this would take you back a few slides or sometimes back to the start of the module.”

“I felt that the alcohol and premises licensing portion of the course is not very relevant to hygiene.”

“It would be helpful if there was an option to hear the transcript read aloud. I have dyslexia and struggle to read lots of text so feel the process would have been a lot easier with an audio option”

“In the final test I got some questions wrong but can not see where to find the correct answer. I have gone back into the feedback but I would like to be able to view the original question and the other options. If would be beneficial to be able to do this as right now I only know that I got the answer wrong. Thank you and I look forward to hearing from you. Very best”

“the training was good and easy to follow. the slides were helpful and the narration was a good addition. Only criticism is that i read faster than the slides / narration so it would be good to be able to move forwards faster in the slides”

“I feel like the course was not always laid out in a clear way. Some parts felt overly repetitive, and in other parts it wasn't always clear why you were learning something at that stage in the slides. It does feel, generally, like a fairly dry way to learn this information. Helpful and thorough of course. I wonder if a mix of short videos, more spot-test quizzes, and written information would help users to learn this information.”

“The Modules are well set out and presentable. I am a Market Manager and went with the level three F/H cert. so that I could understand more what the food traders are dealing with on a day to day basis. hopefully I will be able to incorporate my learning to help guide new and existing traders”

“Training was clear and concise. I would check the setting of the narrator, as it continued to read content of each slide before I clicked "next" on the current slide e.g. started to read slides 6 and 7 when I was still on slide 5.”

“I would put very good, as on the whole it is very good. However on 2 of the 20 modules, i watched all the slides then when it got to the end of that particular module it logged me out and i had to watch every single slide again! One of the modules this happened on had 47 slides!!! I literally had to sit there through every single one again, must have wasted a good couple of hours having to rewatch slides i'd already seen.”

“Liked the course, one down side if I had to leave the course mid module when restarting it would take me back to the beginning and with no means of getting back to where I left off without having to go through every page.”

“The training was good and I did learn a lot. The only reason I have not rated the training as 'very good' is because there were numerous typos throughout the course and on some slides unfinished sentences. I'm surprised NCASS signed this off.”
