“If you like spending days doing risk assessments, policy documents and other catering related documentation then NCASS isn’t for you. But if you want to spend 20 minutes doing a questionnaire and having it all generated for you then it’s the best £300 you will ever spend..”

“Yet again I've renewed my annual membership. Now I know I have access to everything I need to trade safely and legally. I will also know that if I have an EHO visit, all of my paperwork will be in place and readily available. If I'm not sure about anything I know that there is always advice available. Being a member of NCASS ensures that I can get out with my little street food business this Summer with peace of mind. Thanks”

“I would like to share my experience from my side. When my business started facing financial difficulties and eventually moved toward closure, I tried to handle everything in a professional and respectful way. I returned the Safety Management System folder promptly and contacted NCASS to discuss the final payment and cancellation process in good faith. Although it was a challenging period for me financially, I made efforts to communicate openly and find a reasonable solution. I was transparent about my situation and did my best to settle matters properly. While the process was stressful due to my circumstances, I appreciate that there were conversations around resolving the issue. My main intention was always to close things correctly and responsibly. I would simply advise other small business owners to carefully review membership terms and cancellation policies beforehand so there are no surprises later.”

“NCASS have been brilliant from start to finish. Their team is always friendly, knowledgeable and quick to respond to any questions I have, which has made setting up my food business much less stressful. The price is fair for the level of support and resources they provide, and the guidance on compliance and paperwork has been especially helpful. I really appreciate how clear their communication is, and I feel much more confident knowing they are there if anything goes wrong. I’d happily recommend NCASS to anyone starting or running a catering or street food business.”

“We have been NCASS members for a few years, and I can honestly say NCASS have been a massive source of support and guidance to us. “When starting a mobile food truck there are so many things you have to think about regarding risk assessments, insurance, EHO inspection, daily inspections and NCASS help you with every aspect. If anyone tells me they are thinking of starting a food business my first piece of advice is always make sure you join NCASS before you start. It’s the best money you can invest in”

“The customer service is really easy to contact and is always very helpful. The cost of a subscription for the year is very good value for money and the risk assessment templates etc make the whole documentation process quick and easy, particularly with the roll out of the Digital Safety Management System.”

“The service is excellent. The staff are friendly and willing to help in any way they can. I have been a member for 30 years and highly recommend. Invaluable for risk assessments, food hygiene training and advice. Cashback on Calor gas and Booker vouchers make the membership costs very affordable.”
