“I have post a job believing the company was serious and their traders too. After 1 months and a half i am still waiting for the job to be done, and teh company responded to my claim that they are not responsible And cannot do anything. I am not expecting they refund the job, just a little support that according to their policies they contact the traders and can cancel their accounts. They never contacted them. So not profressional and you cannot trust them”

“HELLO. THIS IS A SITE THAT GIVES LITTLE INFORMATION AND HAS A POLICY THAT IS ONLY IN THEIR FAVOR. THEY SAY THAT EVERYTHING IS FREE BUT IT'S A BIG LIE, THE JOBS ARE SOLD BY POINTS AND 1 POINT COSTS £1.30 + VAT AND THE JOBS COST OVERWHELMING. FOR EXAMPLE: 1 JOB FOR DEMOLITION OF A FIREPLACE COSTS 27 POINTS DO THE CALCULATION FOR YOURSELF. 27×£1.30 =£35.10 + VAT. THAT'S HOW THINGS ARE, THEY PAY WORKERS WHO NEED WORK. NOTHING TO OBJECT BUT THE PROBLEM IS THAT THEY DON'T SAY THIS TO THE PEOPLE WHO POST THE JOB AND BECAUSE OF THIS REASON PEOPLE DON'T EVEN CARE ABOUT ANSWERING THE PHONE OR SMS. WHAT'S MORE SERIOUS IS THAT THOSE WHO BUY THE JOB ONLY HAVE 48 HOURS TO MAKE A COMPLAINT (THEY HAVE 5 DAYS TO GIVE YOU YOUR POINTS BACK FROM THE DATE YOU MADE THE COMPLAINT) AND THEY ARE VERY GOOD AT TALKING ON THE PHONE TO MAKE PEOPLE SAY THAT THEY ARE STILL INTERESTED IN DOING THE JOB BUT IT DOESN'T MATTER WHEN IT MAY BE NEXT YEAR, IT'S IMPORTANT THAT THEY DON'T GIVE YOU THE POINTS BACK. AND LOOK AT THIS, YOU FIND OUT THAT YOU HAVE TO PAY A BAG OF MONEY AND NOT EVEN HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO PLEASE GIVE A PRICE FOR THE RESPECTIVE JOB. THANK YOU.”

“I recently started with them as trader,i was trying to be honest with them and expect same as return They way they work i don't mind,but their employees communicating with traders through msgs are nonprofessional and have no clue what we asked them.. Everything time they replay with same msgs more like copy paste thing where it says as per rules this this and this etc I asked them if we pay alot of money to buy a job,then we are unable to contact that customer so how on Earth we still not getting that money refund which we paid ? This is absolutely ridiculous behavior from their staff by saying when you buy that job customer was contact able... There is no trust name of thing between this site and traders...they are nothing without trades and still their behavior is unbelievably rude I have couple of genuine refunds refused by them at the minute,apart from monthly subscriptions charges I'm keep buying more credits as i have no credit left to buy jobs because they not giving me refunds of jobs where customer never replied to me and I'm loosing Money for nothing basically They definitely have some good people there as i spoke to one in the start and he done well but it could be the new starter thing which mostly companies do My problem is with the people replying to our msgs with automated msgs Rather than read our msgs properly and write us back with something making sense would be much better... Also i have observed they don't care if you work hard,you are professional and getting good reviews from customers They still don't listen to you where they should because you are valuable for them... that's what any good company would do but in their case I'm pretty certain they don't know what they doing Their rule is if give customer quote and they didn't want it you still going to be charged,,, I was living with that believe me...but later they started charging me when i was unable to contact the customer for quote lol this is madness Also I'm not sure about fake leeds by their own people but yesterday i have seen 3leeds from same person of about altogether 80credits which equals to around £150 just to buy them jobs... I'm investigating this one as i have a doubt and consulting with others traders working here as well so I'll get there if it's true I'm writing this to the management basically if they care about their company they can investigate and resolve these issues to make it a better place for us and newcomers I'll write more with time and I'll update if its going in better direction...if they cancel my subscription I'll start on other platforms to keep people update”

“I asked D &J civils groundwork of doncaster , to come do some slabbing and turfing they came out and gave me a reasonable quote , I agreed to have the job done and was asked to send a 250 pound deposit over the day before the work was due to start so I did , the next day they did not turn up even though I called and messaged many times I was ignored , avoid them they will be reported to trading standards seems they have no intention of doing the work .”

“As a contractor it’s not worth to join to this company, you can’t buy the jobs, you have to buy credit and if you don’t use all your credits then they take your credits a way, one of the most expensive companies around and on top of it they don’t have jobs all around uk often, you are much better of with my builder”

“If you're a trader, you'll find these guys expensive and seem to have constant issues with uncontactable leads and they won't refund money paid for the leads. They've stolen well over £100 off me in the last few months so I have cancelled my membership. Use an alternative”

“Poor work by roofing and property maintenance. These people are not up to the job! Used wrong materials! They used hollow soffit boards for barge boards and fitted them badly. Wouldn't accept that they were wrong. Very expensive!!”

“I used my job quote never again man rang asked if I had had my roof fixed I said no he had my land line number he said a customer had had a bereavement and he could come straight away. he had so he said his sons with him I was having my ridge tiles put back on so they didn't have to get them charged me £600 I only had ££550 so he came back next day for it they stole a garden orniment and broke my gate I would not give him the £50 he threatened my so I got police I am 71and my mum is 91 we were frightened I got in touch with MyJobQuote but they never got back to me”

“Another rip off company just like the others false leads and when you challenge them they do not like it and like a dictator ban you from there site what a load of rubbish please bring back yellow pages which was much more professional and successful than all these mickey mouse jump on the bandwagon fleece everyone and run off it in the sunset if you go with these people remember to saddle up your horse outside the salon and come wearing your cowboy boots wreckatrade and mybuilder all crooks.name and shame them best publicity”

“I'm a tradesman! I bought 20 pieces worth over £200 and won one piece that lasted a day! In general, the company decides to return your money or not! I bought a job yesterday, wrote an email to the customer on the website and called him! And the company writes me a message saying that it was necessary to contact the customer because he still wants to do the work! And we cannot return your money! And this is not the first time! I am very unhappy with this website!”

“RIP off company, we signed up for a FREE trial, they charged us and we didn’t want to use the service due to extremely poor quality leads. Most we couldn’t even get hold of the customer. Lots of much better companies with much better balue leads. Save yourselves a fortune and try other companies.”

“This website is used by cowboy builders who use this so called reputable site to generate leads in other words find victims. We expect this website to do checks and validate tradesmen but they don’t. Only use recommendations and do not pay a deposit Make staged payments based on progress. Dont be blackmailed or pressurized by the cowboy builders. Do not use David Weldon of DW services based near Nottingham see the reviews on this website”

“I have spent nearly £500 trying to get some work from this site, and won a few small jobs I got, did not cover the money I wasted. Most of the time the customers did not respond to my emails, messages or text. I suspect the customers do not exist and it was simply a way to extract cash from tradesmen. I would NOT recommended that tradesmen use this site.”

“I use this company to post a job to get my guttering done. They sent my a company called Sk Industrial cleaning and Roofing limited located at 67 Wexam close, Director Shane Keenan . I paid a deposit for the work to be done but he never showed up for the work .Calls and text messages to his phone went unanswered Shane Keenan have defrauded me , he still operating . I have reported him to Myjobquote but they are not taking responsibility. You have been warned!”

“Hired Robert Graham to come to fit worktops in kitchen. Hired him because we only had one day spare to get job done so needed done on the Saturday.we also needed a kitchen cupboard to be put in so he said he could purchase this for job and bring it with him. 2 days before job he contacted us saying could we forward him £300 to purchase cupboard and bits for job screw brackets etc. so we did. Then comes the Saturday he supposed to come for the job at 10:00 2 hours later we get a msg saying he’s car is in garage and we be about an hour, that was fine then it come to 3 hours then 5 hours. Adventurely we told he not to bother because by this time it was nearly 18:00. So we said return the money minus the price of the cupboard but still no money has been returned. Avoid the tradesman I don’t think it’s the first time he has done this.”

“I have had Understair storage fitted by W&J Construction SW Ltd, please see pictures of poor craftsmanship for 16 years experience. After sending him 5 WhatsApp messages, and 2 emails, informing what needs finishing, he has chosen to ignore all. I have draws that only pull out half way, which I have to pull open with 2 hands, big draw I have to close using a foot at base of draw as well as pushing at the top. Sliding hinges have been padded out as made too narrow. Main door hinges have just been fitted to piece of wood, thus not being able to close properly, and there is a gap on the side. I have tried to contact Will, he has blocked me from his Facebook since I left him negative feedback and on My Builder, stating his poor craftsmanship. I feel knowing this your customers wouldn’t like you promoting someone that is producing shoddy work. You can view his craftsmanship on Bad Builders & Contactors”

“Been using them nearly a year, 50% of the jobs are hoaxes and way more expensive than MyBuilder...I have given them a £100 this week and both jobs were fictious ..they refuse to do a refund...trade support is non existent....go MyBuilder every time!”
