“I needed a tall chimney stack top pot to be made secure and possible repointimg of the chimney additionally it had a very tall analogue tv aerial attached to the chimney, which is redundant in it's usage, anymore, I contacted Bill of Havering Roof Repairers, who gave me a quote, and was abally assisted by Mick ,they arrived on time around 9am as promised, did a survey of the work involved, worked out a plan and proceeded the examination of the chimney stack, a video made by Bill, showed an alarming condition of the chimney stack, as the weight of the heavy pole and aerial, had twisted the chimney, causing the top bricks and others to loosen with potential dangerous consequences not reduced down to a save level. So Bill and Mick, after renegotiating away from the original price, proceeded to remove the tv aerial and heavy steel pole, then they reduced the height of the chimney stack and capped off the top, repainting thr the Brickwork and took new video again for me to see the completed works, they took away all the damaged bricks, the tv aerial and pole, and left the site tidy too, I'd recommend these guys, who were very friendly too, I might add, to anyone looking for a great job done, value for money and for the experience and professionalism they bought to my job.”
