“I felt the need to chase constantly. I was never really given clear timescales and felt like this should have been done at the start via email. The whole 'release funds by end of next working day' I.e. if its a Friday it won't be done until Monday feels so dated. Do you not use faster payment? Staff I spoke to on phone were all nice, but some erros on their side caused the delays. I sent various forms of ID given my recent house move, and it seems some of it wasn't submitted. When they told me that they needed to see different proof of address they ended up using a document I had already sent via email but they hadn't passed over to finance. This experience has genuinely taken a lot of the excitement out of getting a new car.”
