“I really like my mooncup! I tried another brand but mooncup is the most comfortable for me. Just one remark regarding the size advice: I think it is misleading to give the size advice based only on age. There are so many factors that influence your choice of size and I think this should be mentioned on the website. E.g.: I purchased a mooncup size A because I had turned 30 a few years ago and it turned out that the bigger size hurt me a lot, so I had to go back to size B.”

Our sizing guidelines are based on age and childbearing history, both of which can affect pelvic floor tone. That said, we of course understand that everyone is different. “I'm so happy to own this. No more throwing away used sanitary products! The first month was a little awkward, while I worked out how to put it in, and take it out, but since I chopped off the tail to the correct length, it's been a dream, and so comfortable. I love that it doesn't dry me out, I love that (other than the first day of my period) I only need to worry about it twice a day. It's so freeing not to need to cart around a box of products while I'm on my period. I honestly would recommend getting one so much.”

“Only wish I had had my moon cup earlier in my life. I’ve raved about to everyone and are buying them as presents for women I know of all ages. No waste, no leaking, and having to change it less. Took a bit of time to get used to but think once you’ve worked out it doesn’t insert as far as a tampon would and trimmed the stem right down it’s great!”

“I really like the idea of the cup but it’s a hassle to insert/ remove and then emptying and sterilising is just added faff. I trimmed the stalk because it was uncomfortable but then I couldn’t get an easy grip to remove so I just gave up and switched to the pants (much easier) but I still recommend the cup to other people.”

“I absolutely love the mooncup and I rant and rave about them to everyone! I started using them before I had my firstborn (to be honest, I was a little gutted when I was waiting for my period to happen before I found out i was pregnant because I was just so excited to use it again 😂). They are honestly life changing, and especially good for me post baby to help strengthen those pelvic floor muscles subconsciously, which is something i forget to do! It's also just so much easier, quicker, and cleaner then wearing a tampon and sanitary towels, and not too mention no guilt from the waste, and no need to empty your bathroom bin that stinks and is rammed full of periody stuff! Win win! If your contemplating getting a mooncup dont think just do it! You wont regret it I promise!”

“It's certainly a game changer for cleanliness during my period, I'm still getting used to putting it in correctly and find it a little awkward sometimes to get right, but I suspect that's my fault not the moon cup's! Overall I would recommend 👍”

“I feel so much more comfortable not having to worry if there's a toilet nearby when i'm out all day, I can leave it in for much longer and not worry, plus no more wasteful tampons! I find it very comfortable and easy to use although it can get a little messy when removing so best to take something to rinse it if you're not in a private area, other than its a game changer, I definitely recommend.”

“I love my mooncup. It's not only zero waste, but it's also so much cleaner than tampons or towels and you can't feel it once you get the position right. It does take a bit of practice getting it in and out and I had to cut the stem down a fair bit, but now I'm confident with it and wouldn't go back.”

“I can’t believe I’ve wasted so much money over the years! I’m 41 and had my only child 4yrs ago and let’s just say, things do go back to normal like they would in your twenties. I’ve always suffered with heavy periods so was dubious about the efficiency but after 3 cycles I’ve not leaked once, had any discomfort plus I’ve only had to empty once in the morning and before bed. The customer service is second to none and if (like my sister) it feels uncomfortable they’re more than happy to help and/or offer a refund.”

“I wish I'd been using this all along. It's just so much less faff than tampons and towels. Weirdly what I love about it most is the fact that I'm not filling up my bathroom bin so often! I'm also actually learning new things about my flow. Oh, and I'm saving tonnes of money. Of course it's different, but I easily got used to it, within like 2 days. I haven't been more satisfied with a purchase than anything else in a long time.”
