Mooncup began with a clear goal: to give people a healthier, sustainable way to manage their periods.

Back in 2002, we launched the world’s first medical-grade silicone menstrual cup, pioneering a movement that put health and the planet first. We saw an industry where profit came before people, ingredients were hidden, and plastics reigned, so we challenged the status quo.

Now, we're on a mission to become the world’s biggest sustainable period care brand. We’ve just launched Mooncup period pads into Sainsbury’s, Boots, Holland & Barrett and Look Fantastic. We’re also partnering with workplaces, gyms and hotels (like Canva, Danone, Third Space, Gymshark and Claridge’s) to offer free period care in bathrooms.

“I will never go back to tampons and pads. No more landfill waste from products and packaging. No plastic and fibres in your knickers and in your vagina! Once you're used to putting it in, it's easy. I have leaked overnight twice from not putting it in correctly but I used to leak occasionally from tampons anyway, I've worked out how to prevent this (give it a little tug once inserted to check it's sealed). My advice: get one immediately.”

“I haven't bought tampons for 5 months now since using the mooncup. I used to hate the dryness of tampons when my period was light. The mooncup is so much more comfortable, in fact I don't even feel it. You have to get your hands in there a bit more than with tampons but you get used to it! I would highly recommend switching to the mooncup.”

“The Mooncup came a few days after I ordered it . It took about 2 periods before i felt completely fine using the Mooncup removing etc but its all great now ! “This is one of the most amazing product I ever bought in my life! Mooncup literally changed my life of circle of period and I've recommended many of my friends to use it as it really changes women's life! It has so many benefits:-It's environmentally friendly as you don't need to use pads which means you don't have waste when you have period, it's economically friendly as you don't need to buy pads every month, it's hassle free as you don't need to change the cup every 4 hours (just in the morning and evening before go to sleep) and I even forget about I'm on period as I don't feel any uncomfortable feeling like usual pads make you feel! You can use this product for 10+years and it's safe for your body. Also, if you buy it from official Mooncup website, international shipping fee is free too so if you're thinking about using this product, please give a try. Honestly, I cannot imagine my life without Mooncup! Thank you for your amazing invention!”

“I love the moon cup, i use to use pads as i could never get on with tampons. But after a little practice the moon cup is for me ! Im very active and the moon cup is perfect you dont even know its there 🤗 After my children ive gone up a size but im back to it and its great easy to use now use to it again and saves the planet too ! “Once I bought the mooncup after a friend's recommendation and after thinking for a while about how to make more environmentally friendly decisions it arrived very swiftly! I took the opportunity whilst working from home to get used to it. The first 3 or so changes were slightly jiggly to make sure all was OK! After my first full period I was converted. I've used it on every period since. I feel hygienic and pleased with the product. Don't plan to look back! I'm sure I've already made my money back as well with plenty more use to come! Fab product!”

It’s amazing to be able to travel knowing that I have everything I need to make my period as comfortable as possible in one little pouch.
