Anonymous We currently have 18 Car Hire Excess Insurers on our site, which is a big representation of the market here in the UK. Many of these insurers also offer discounted policies when you purchase online from our site to there's. Great to hear that you found us and thank you for your review. Peter Crabb Thank you for your feedback, it is an interesting point you raise. Some of the insurers do put a timescale on (in terms of you not being able to purchase too far in advance), this is due to the fact that Underwriters can change or bring out newer policies, in making sure that their policies do reflect the requirements for their customers at their time of use. When customers run there comparisons, we do try to provide as many options as possible, and I'm aware some customers even diarise to come back to our site to purchase a policy within the insurers timescale to purchase (subject to being available at the time of course). Although we are not allowed to advise, we can sign post you and help you to use our site, in making sure you find the companies that will meet your requirements (e.g. like booking beyond 3 months in advance / “which can be achieved” / subject to your scenario and the insurers criteria at that time). “Was looking for car excess insurance for long stay in NZ however when I clicked the quick buy link to Debenhams insurance the price had gone up over £100, I reported this via the 'chat' who was very helpful and I subsequently bought a slightly dearer policy through the site. It's a good site and pretty straight forward but double check the price before you buy.”
