Well we tried long and hard to replicate this issue but could not find any reason why this would happen. It didn't affect any other users either so we can only assume it might have been a local issue with connection, wifi, or similar. We are sorry you were disappointed this time but please do try again as we are confident you won't face such a situation in the future.

“I managed to save a lot of money by using the comparison tool on MoneyMaximiser and managed to get an annual policy for £50 instead of using the car rental company’s policy, which would have cost £120+ for the single trip. Also, thank you to MoneySavingExpert Martin Lewis for the recommendation.”

Hi Alan Thanks both for your review, and for taking the time to discuss this. The issue related to the fact the link from our site to the insurers took time to load and you never reached them. We retested the links and they are working perfectly but in retrospect I do wonder if there was a temporary issue at the insurers end - as that could have caused this situation.
