“Needed clarification of cover & made a query via Live Chat. The person taking the query said it would be easier/quicker to explain verbally rather than on screen and phoned me. Spent 5 to 10 mins making sure everything was clear to me.”

“Site easy to use , two identical companies selling exactly the same product but under different names ....check before you purchase , I have since had contact with moneymaximser and have amended my review as I'm reviewing the broker not the company who supplies the excess insurance I purchased , my issue was eversure and reduce my excess are the same company , same policy , same wording but a different price , I have yet to and hope not to claim on the policy .”

Hi and many thanks for your comments. You are right in what you say here - we have a couple of companies who parent different brand names - one who offer different benefits at slightly different prices - and one who currently is offering identical results at different prices under different brand names (this has not always been the case but is presently). We understand another company will be shortly launching a new budget version of their current product too. We do this because some previous customers like to use a company name they have used in the past - or at least look out for it to see how it compares to other policies. We do feel it's important that we are showing as many policies as we can and would hate a user to be unable to compare a brand that they have previously used as it was not represented on the service. “The compare up to three policies side by side is useful. You should look at actual reviews of insurance companies on trustpilot (or wherever)...many insurances have 4 or 5* reviews, but this is only for the paying of the insurance...pertinent reviews are for the insurance company paying out”
