Excellent to hear Rahee. We are always trying to streamline the site and buying process - we want our product pages to have the information you need to be confident in what you are buying. Sometimes it's easier with items like Bosch appliances where the information is available everywhere, but items like the double drainers (which we think are great) we are always trying to tweak and improve. It's nice to get validation that we are progressing along the right lines.

“The product I ordered was out of stock so Modern Living upgraded it to a higher spec product at no extra charge. Their communication was excellent throughout, delivery arranged for a day to suit me and delivery company then texted me on the morning with a two hour slot. Very happy with the service.”

Thank you for the review. Similar to Michael's review below, we were caught out with a couple of orders for a microwave we were waiting on stock. We had another one in that would work for your installation, so were able to upgrade.

Thank you - I'm pleased you found it resolved quickly and efficiently. If you don't mind I'll just expand on the issue as I don't want it to look like we send out faulty products! The hood you bought had a manufacturing fault - a scuff/discolouration on the finish. You contacted us quickly, sent pictures and we were able to get it picked up and replaced easily.

Thanks Michael, that's very fair. The microwave was out of stock with us and with Bosch , but as we advertised it as available tried to find the best solution we could.

“I purchased a Bosch Dishwasher from Modern Living. My reason for choosing Modern Living was the price. It was one of the cheapest i had seen online and it was in stock with a quick delivery date. The communic!ion from them was brilliant. They contacted me to arrange a suitable delivery day,date and advised that the driver would call beforehand to give me an estimated time. The delivery was arranged for 5 days later and on the morning true to word the driver called and told me an expected time. The item was delivered on a pallet and I asked him to leave it in a suitable place, I was there for delivery. The Dishwasher was well packaged and protected and I had no issues at all. I would highly recommend them for your purchases.”

“I wanted to purchase a bath from Modern Living as the delivery information on the website explained that a delivery at a mutually convenient time would be made. This did not happen I had to chase up the delivery a number of times. While the person on the phone was perfectly helpful within the remit of her role, it is clear that there were a number of third parties involved which made the process of chasing up and arranging an appropriate delivery extremely stressful. Please make the information on your delivery page clear so as not to raise expectations of a possible nominated delivery day for large items.”

Hi. I'm really sorry you haven't had a good experience with your order from us. We often get the baths delivered direct from our supplier to the customer which usually means a quicker turnaround time. The flip side is we are out of the loop when arranging the delivery. We really don't like negative feedback and do take it seriously and would appreciate if you got in touch so we can look at how we can make the information clearer to help customers going forward.

“Very good service. Answered our queries about the appliance & were very helpful. Ordered online, received email immediately confirming, then the following day, received a phone call to confirm we would be in on day of delivery. Had a phone call from delivery driver before drop off, to make sure we were in. All in all, excellent service.”
