“I have given only 3 stars because I was so disappointed with the shoes I received this time. I ordered 5 pairs and each pair were too small. I’m a standard size 5 but I would guess 4 pairs were really 4.5 and one a size 4. To be fair they were all on sale and possibly not up to the usual standard. I have other Moda in Pelle shoes which I love and which fit but weren’t bought on sale. I won’t do that again!”

“absolutely loved my new pewter trainers but so disappointed having worn them only a couple of times to find that the decorative zip has come apart and the right shoe squeaks when i walk. All together a failure and now reluctant to purchase from moda again. An expensive mistake”

“Unfortunately purchase did not fit way too small. Love Moda in Pelle many shoes purchased but first time bought on line and still patiently waiting refund after 3 weeks. Disappointed as local suppliers closed and probably won't buy on line again. Own 8 pairs size 7 at present time.”

“Please, I would like to receive confirmation be e-mail when a refund has been processed and I would also like to see it as a credit on my account and for how much was returned. It seems to be a complicated system as I had to call Moda in Pelle Customer Services and check if my postal return had been received and had my refund been processed because it did not show this on my account. Unhappy Customer due to lack of communication from this otherwise superb Company. Thank you”

“Gorgeous boots and shoes, really good quality. However, I won't be buying online again as it cost me so much postage to return a pair of boots recently. Please consider free returns.”

“Nice style but heels needed to be replaced after 6 wears, the cobbler than informed me that the heel was made of compressed paper, Even though I purchased them in the sale I Thought the shoes would be better quality . The delivery was prompt.”

“Lovely, stylish shoes. They would be even more praiseworthy if true to size. I am a standard size 8 with a narrowish foot but most Moda in Pelle shoes of that size are too tight. Very few shoe styles go above 8 so regrettably, I would be unable to wear many of the beautiful shoes that I desire. Purchase therefore pointless. The pair I bought recently have a long toe space so wearable for 3 hours max”

“I've bought a few pairs of shoes and been happy with all of them. I was disappointed that as a resident of N Ireland, I had to pay postage which I only discovered at the end of the check out process. That is a disincentive that will discourage me in the future.”

“no free returns for this company. try in the shop for your size before ordering in line. The postage charge for bulky items is a deal breaker when buying in the sale. i went to the cobbler to get more holes put in a strap on my sandals rather than return the sandal .”
