The door I ordered had not been sanded along the insets of the glass panels. I informed you of this and it was suggested I return it. This was impractical as I couldn't book the carpenter again for some time. I had to pay him an extra hour to sand the door before it could be fitted. I emailed to inform you of this and did not have the courtesy of a reply.

I love the doors themselves however do not love the service. I ordered these doors and they didn't arrive within the time frame. I'd received an email stating I would hear within a couple of days about delivery but it didn't happen. After contacting Moda doors who contacted the distributor I was told something went wrong with my order and it hadn't been sent so they were rushing one through. This still took well over a week to arrive. My husband phoned and was told that I agreed on a delivery date with them for the Friday which I never did and shortly after that I received a message from the distributor confirming my delivery for the Tuesday after the Friday I had apparently agreed. I would recommend the product but avoid the company at all costs!

I bought some glass paned internal doors, but they had lots of bits on them that needed sanding off, holes apparently used in the drying process that needed sanding and filling, poor joins for the pane frames that had then been roughly filled with wood filler which needed sanding and some rough cuts for the panes that are a pain to sand. Not cheap and poor quality.

Door looks good quality however, it’s not the door I wanted. Returning and reordering is a hassle so won’t bother with that. They look similar but the door on the photo slightly differs from the actual product.

Door was pretty poor quality. Layers of flimsy board made putting hinges on challenging. I suspect even with a Few layers of paint itll last 1-2 years tops. £48 for delivery 7 working days (so 10 real days) later is a joke in 2023. No response to a customer serive email prior to delivery. All round, would not recommend at all.

Ordered a hardwood front door on 15th August, which was delivered on 19th August with dents in two places clearly visible through torn plastic wrapping. Courier took photos and noted on the delivery information. Rang Moda the following morning to request a replacement or refund to cover the cost and inconvenience of filling and sanding the damaged door received. Chased up three times in nine days without any success and waited for three days more before a figure of £45 was finally made. ( Which I accepted the same day, 30th August andasked for theamount to be credited to my card. ) Today is Friday 8th September and I have still not received the credit!!!!

I'll be able to offer a full review when my door eventually arrives! Last week the delivery company delivered my door to another Moda customer, and her door me!

Door showing on website had obscure glass one delivered had clear glass! No option given on website bit disappointed ☹️

The door we purchased was nice , delivery said 3-5 working day we have to wait 14 days ,Got a txt to say the was a issue with the Distribution, had to phone up to chase twice , first time someone said they would get back to me no-one did , called again this prompted my order to be ordered.

Great product but was given a misleading lead time. Not as advertised on website. They order from LPD doors so are relying on their delivery drops.

At first the service was very good . Communications were regular. Due to miss interpretation of a door description I ordered the wrong door . From there on in Communications as been rubbish . Door been sent back over 10days know and no sign if a refund .

Really disappointed by the quality of the XL Joinery doors and the subsequent response from Moda. . Less than 3 weeks after fitting, the majority of our 15 doors started to peel at the top and bottom corners. At £155 per door I expected better! Initially I was offered less than half the total value back (I declined). I was the offered a replacement or refund but when I asked for compensation for the associated costs I.e a joiner to refit replacement doors (at a cost of just under £1000), it got frustrating. They’d only pay this if I selected XL Joinery doors but when there were none that I liked I had to resort to my credit card company for support. So as it stands I’m out of pocket for doors that are less than a month old but are faulty…..not the outcome I was looking for! Save yourself a headache and avoid Moda and XL Joinery.

The quality control needs to be looked at as silicone around glass also delivery charges (£42) are excessive

Having dealt with finewood and other such companies there returns policy are spot on however this is not the case with moda I had a door that was delivered damaged and because I couldn't get to the doors within 14 days the weren't interested thus leaving me with a damaged 200 pound door absolute joke will nor be ordering again

Hi there, Many thanks for taking the time to leave your review. I have taken a look into this order and can see that your order was placed on 01/12/2021 and subsequently delivered on 06/12/2021. It was not until 24/01/2022 that the issue was raised with us but as you confirmed that you had worked upon and fitted the door, we were unable to offer a replacement item. We do advise all customers to check and ensure all goods are suitable before any work commences. Since then, we did offer a discounted replacement however at the time of writing we have heard nothing from you. If you wish to discuss this further, please do not hesitate to contact us. The door was what I wanted, and was correct size, however, it took over eight days for me to get the door and it was damaged in several places when it finally arrived. I spent the day at home waiting for the door on the said delivery day, and it didn’t arrive. I had a call the next day from delivery driver saying he had come the day prior, funny, he didn’t call or leave a card, or be seen on delivery day at my home. I’m on tight timelines with works and had to repair the door myself rather than try to return it. Not happy

Delivered the wrong door (well not the one I ordered and paid for). Took ages to get my money back which was a few hundred quid. I had to request this 5 or 6 times before the money it was refunded.

Ordered wrong size door by mistake, but wouldn’t allow me to return it because it was outside a 14 day period. Didn’t know it was wrong until joiner came to fit it, which was why i was late requesting the return.

Disappointed with the quality. Silicon seal on bottom bead of glass doesn't cover the wood and so rain can penetrate. Veneer panel has blown and split.

Quality of the doors where fine. Promised 3 doors on a delivery date which kept getting pushed back and when they did arrive one was missing which didn’t come until 3-4 weeks later. Couldn’t plan work around these guys and the delivery dates. Very disappointing.
