I placed an order, for a new battery, the part was not in stock, the team informed me that this part would be coming from the USA and would take a few weeks to arrive. I was given the opportunity to cancel the order and use another company, but I decided to stick with MOBILITY SMART, whilst I was waiting the staff kept me informed of progress and delivery date. As a retired wheelchair engineer I am aware of parts taking some time to arrive, so I was happy for the short wait.

When we managed to find the member of the sales team who understood what we were looking for, we were advised accordingly and bought a mobility scooter to meet our needs. Well pleased.

I found my rollator gave me so much more stability it was the knowing i could walk feeling secure. Its a great item. Helps me a lot.

I was unhappy with the item I recieved and emailed Mobility Smart. I had no reply and so it's difficult to recommennd a business which does not live up to it's claims.

Mobility scooter got a fault on 2nd time it was used and the company took 4 weeks to send an engineer out only to have sent the wrong part. Another 3 weeks passed before they came to collect the damn thing as I’d had enough of trying to get a scooter my husband could actually use. Would not recommend for one minute

Hi Joanne, Please accept our sincerest and unreserved apologies for the completely unacceptable experience you and your husband have had. We are deeply sorry that your new scooter developed a fault—a clicking wheelbearing—on only its second use. A new product should be absolutely perfect, and we fully appreciate the distress and frustration this caused. The core of the problem, and where we truly failed you, was the service that followed. The 4-week wait for an engineer, only for them to arrive with an incorrect part (which had been sent in error by the manufacturer), is simply not good enough. The further 3-week delay to then get the item collected is also completely unacceptable. We understand entirely why you "had enough" and we are just so sorry that we let you both down so badly. We can confirm that the scooter has been collected and a full refund has been processed. We sincerely hope that you have now been able to find a suitable and reliable scooter for your husband. The product, a power pack for a wheelchair was fine but it was fitted to my wheelchair incorrectly which made it almost impossible to use. The battery pack was fitted too far back such that I couldnt walk behind, and the power button was fitted on the handle bar the wrong way round. Once the battery pack was moved further towards the centre of the chair and the power button relocated so my right hand thumb could easily reach it, life was easier !
