I ordered product for next day delivery. It didn't turn up. When I rang the store the next day to enquire I was told product was not in stock. I asked for a refund and was told it would be processed. I did say I would appreciated an email or text so I would not have waited in a whole day for nothing. I got no response. Later on in the day I got a call saying they had found the product but I said I just wanted a refund. Very poor customer service.

Bought the Item on Sunday with next Day Delivery so expected it sometime Tuesday. I received an email saying its going to be Wednesday. So not next day as specified and paid for.

It took too long to deal with my request, and as yet, despite paying for next day delivery, I have not received the goods! I ordered Thursday, wanted to use this paint at the weekend but will it come on Monday??????

I ordered 2 60lts of Westlands Jacks Magic all purpose compost along with some path and patio cleaner I received the patio and path cleaner within 2/3 days but the compost did not arrive so i phoned you company and they told me it had been sent to Leeds and would be with me today before 12.00 The lady who spoke to me on the phone was very apologetic and help full Regards Raymond Belk

After ordering the picket fence on Wednesday. And confirmation it had been despatched, I took the day of on Friday to make sure I was in . Then contacted you at 3.30 to tell you it had nit arrived, they checked and they had disappeared , credit where credit is due a refund was done straight way . But with me taking the day of and my husband taking Saturday morning of on Saturday to do it I was very disapointed,, I do understand it was not your fault but it fist us a great deal of money in loss of earnings . Bought the product with a next day delivery but it didnt arrive ! No notification either that it was delayed or when it would be delivered. The only saving grace was the speedy return of my money when I asked for a refund.

Poor, do not recommend. After waiting several working days I had not received the product ordered, or even a dispatch notice. I contacted customer services via the online web form, but received no answer. It needed a telephone call 6 days after my initial order with payment taken, to get Maxwells to let me know they were awaiting stock delivery. To their credit, once stock arrived item was sent next day delivery. Will not use again, until they improve 'no stock' handling and notification.

The product does not match the picture. For the price I would expect the product to be more densely filled. Did not provide as good a screen as I was hoping for.

Disappointed with the delivery service. Item was despatched on 22nd Jan for next day delivery, but it didn't arrive. I rang the Maxwells online Customer Service at 1650 but all I received was the answer machine. I left a message and my telephone number and also sent an e-mail to ask where my item was. It didn't arrive the following day (Saturday) either. No one rang me back so I rang Maxwells this morning (Monday) but the line was constantly engaged. I eventually got through to the Birtley depot who managed to get a message to Customer Service. They then rang me and said that the courier driver couldn't find our address and it would be better if I rang them directly. They had also just sent me an email saying the same In desperation I tried this but was left holding the line for ages so I gave up and contacted Maxwells again to suggest that this was their problem and they should sort it out with the courier in order to get the item delivered to me. The item eventually arrived this afternoon. We purchase online regularly and never have any problems with drivers finding where we are. Our home is in the country, but on the edge of the village and if the driver had simply asked any of the neighbours then he could have found us quite easily. This is the first time I have used Maxwells and I have to say that I wasn't impressed. Hence the rating of 'Poor'. When I pay for next day delivery I don't expect my order to arrive any later than that. Maybe Maxwells should reconsider it's courier contract.

At 9.59am you sent an e-mail to say my delivery would be 2 days late. Just `14 minutes later you send me an e-mail asking for a review of your service. What sort of review were you expecting???

I ordered 5 covered mousetraps in December. I got 2 covered and three uncovered traps (not much use with inquisitive animals around). I have emailed and phoned in the hopes of getting either the correct traps sent or a refund. This hasn't happened. The money was taken out of my account before I received the parcel. I have had no response since I spoke to Callum in December. I am very disappointed and am still trying to contact Maxwells.
