Still waiting for my order which was promised 5 days ago. Apparently it is out of stock and awaiting a delivery.

Although goods arrived promptly and were well packed the courier service was poor. Courier simply rang the front door bell placed the package on the window ledge and walked away not waiting to see if any one was at home or requiring a signature for the delivery. Will be reluctant to order high value goods from Maxwells DIY in the future.

So far, five days after ordering a small quantity of plant support, I have received two confirmations and a request to review their standard of service, but no product! More attention to getting my purchase to me quickly would have been preferable.

I ordered two pots of paint, with next day delivery. One was received the day after - I chased the other and was assured that one was to be sent out next day as there was no sign of the other. I am still waiting for this other pot of paint, after paying £10 for next day delivery.

Website is poorly designed and not easy to navigate. I wanted to collect in store but there is no store selector! Eventually resolved the issue through the customer care line - you apparently need to put that info in 'ANY DELIVERY INSTRUCTIONS'. Then promised a phone call when the goods arrive in store - didn't happen. I had to call at the store twice after no calls 3 days after the tracking site showed it had been dispatched from the delivery base 15 miles away. MAXWELLS need to look at how other retailers have set up there online shopping and delivery service. Won't use that method again.

Ordered for next day delivery. Was sent an email late the next day saying items were not in stock until next week with no explanation. Emailed Maxwell's but have yet to receive a response

I ordered by internet on Thursday 30 April and immediately afterwards called Maxwell and was assured the order was received and would be despatched forthwith and would be delivered on Friday 1 May. The promise of next day delivery was important to me as I needed the goods (a 10kg bag of lawn seed) for immediate use. By the afternoon of 1 May I had not received the goods nor any email confirming delivery. The goods have still not arrived.

Paid for next day delivery didn't arrive for 2 days. Only 1 tin of paint arrived & was a different make to the 1 I ordered. Phones up & told the paint wa delivered today, which was 3 days after the order. Will not use again.

I was informed by email that next day delivery was from date of dispatch and NOT from date of ordering. Item did not arrive. After having bought another item locally over the weekend I phoned to be told that the courier had damaged the item and didn't have the courtesy to call me. Refund requested and received. Overall I am not satisfied with the service provided. Will not be usin Maxwells again.

Not happy up to now as I paid for next day delivery and 3 days liater I'm still waiting for my purchase. £50.00 for delivery is very expensive and I would appreciate some sort of compensation. Regards Alan.

Ordered some wood dye with next day delivery. Nothing for 6 days so contacted Maxwells who informed me they were out of stock And discontinued. Plenty of emails to me asking about their service so thought i would share my dissapointment in the fact that they did not contact to let me know. They had my email and mobile number. Shame as i needed the dye to complete work. Communication poor

It took me a while to get the items I wanted in the basket. When i did and decided to order, the form was showing zero delivery charge. The intro to the site stated minimum delivery charge of £5.00 so I assumed that since my order was a total in excess of £50.00 that I had qualified for free delivery. I then proceeded to pay via Paypal which when auhtorised confirmed my order was £20.00 in excess of expectation - delivery charge. I was not amused so cancelled the order. It was cheaper to nip down to my local Screwfix. There was no problem cancelling for which I was grateful.

I ordered some emulsion paint at 3.30 pm on Thursday afternoon as was led to believe that I was in time for next day delivery. Also that I would receive an e-mail when the goods were dispatched.It is now Sunday afternoon and I have not received any communication from Maxwells, or received the goods I ordered.
