“was expecting total delivery of items because of the promised next day delivery ,only to have only half of the delivery sent and now have to wait till Monday as your next working day to have the remainder of the items .”

“Ordered 1am Tues with 24 hour delivery should have been delivered Wed. Still not delivered Thurs afternoon so called Maxwells to be told after been put on hold for 10 min that did not have longer length on wood and would have to ask local branch Birtley to deliver Friday. Bit annoyed as stayed in all day Wed and Thurs would have liked a call or email to let me know there was a problem.”

“I made 2 orders with this company. First order didn't arrive next day as promised, instead half arrived the following day and the other half a day later. The second order arrived next day but the quantity split was wrong but ironically it actually worked in my favour.”

“Order was placed on 29/3 - non-working day. Assumed order would be processed on Monday 30/3 for delivery Tuesday 31/3 as you claim 'next-day delivery'. NO! E-mail at 4.17pm on Monday advised delivery would be Wednesday 1/4. No explanation given.”

“Ordered items on the 28th Feb waited until 7th March emailed and had to phone as they had not arrived, very good response from the phone call Items arrived 11th March”

“Ordered Saturday for next working day delivery...order despatched following Tuesday and arrived Wednesday minus one of the items. Sent e mail and only then informed that item out of stock and would be delivered the following Wednesday, I can forgive the item being out of stock but the lack of communication about this was inexcusable.”

“Bit premature as I haven't received my goods yet. I would have preferred a time limit on when the courier will deliver and would have paid extra for that privilege. It his way I have to stay in ALL day as no one in your company has any idea when they will deliver and you can't really ask a neigh out to take in 70 litres of compost!”

“Competively priced but not of a good quality with very thin metal. Why can't manufacturers produce quality goods these days. I suspect the metal will decay very quickly.”

“Items came within the agreed timescales: only gripes I would have was firstly, the fact that I was sent a timeslot via text which was not met - the items actually turned up 2 hours earlier than suggested, but luckily someone was available. Secondly, that one of the tins of varnish was heavily rusted - but as I have not used yet, don't know whether the contents have been affected.”
