“The item was apparently lost by the courier. The replacement arrived yesterday but the courier put it in a shed belonging to our neighbour, ie delivered to the wrong address. At least I got it in the end!”

“I ordered Ronseal One Coat Fencelife Sprayable in Harvest Gold - 5 Lt £9.99 It comes in a square container to fit onto the sprayer which I had purchased elsewhere. A round container of Ronseal Fencelife - a similar product but for brushing, was supplied. I rang and spoke to a nice polite chap who said that it is now in this new container but would send me another 5Lt in a square pot FOC ( I was trying to replace my original one due to a mishap - without my husband finding out!) I thought this was a very nice offer but when I opened the box another round pot had been sent and I ended up having to confess my accident. The round container is a different product but apparently can be sprayed - so watch this space!”

“ordered tuesday pm next day delivery (Thursday) didn't happen, customer services contacted midday Thursday not helpful. "it's on the van" " can't contact driver" Received email despatch confirmation Friday it said next working day (therefore assumed Monday). Arrived Friday. Have purchased all wooden doors from Maxwells, could have bought with local free delivery cheaper.”

“Items arrived quickly but satisfaction was undermined by courier service used - box arrived very battered and on opening the parcel paint spilled out on our clothes as the parcel had been so badly manhandled the paint pot lid had come off spilling the contents”

“The delivery time was prompt , the product was fine , however my neighbour who took the delivery stated the driver had a negative attitude about delivering the product to the rear. Otherwise we would've given full stars”

“Goods ordered were as specified. Delivery was quick, in fact too quick. I specified a delivery date and they delivered a day earlier without any warning. there was no one in. and the goods were left out the front”

“Ordering items on line - good and straight forward. Getting items delivered: courier did not contact me for delivery. Maxwells did not inform me that it was going to be a split delivery over 2 days by 2 couriers. Good job I wasn't on a job task for this! Overall, good quality of goods and what I needed, just disappointed with lack of delivery info. Should I have to use them for a customer job, I will want an intinerary of delivery dates and courier names before.”

“Great price for picket fencing but service not great.should have been delivered next working day but wasn't. Sent 2 emails but neither was answered.one of the struts on the panel was broken but as I said still no reply.”

“Very surprised I have received this request to comment - not sure about the next day delivery - OK it has been Easter but I ordered my fence spikes last Saturday morning. It is 4.30 pm the following Saturday and still no sign of them..”

“ordered on 17/03/16 on over night did not receive goods the goods although I payed for that service waited til 21/03/16 til I phoned customer services to be told that one of the products was out of stock but it would be dispatched that day if that was so why was I not emailed to say there was a problem”

“I ordered on line and had it delivered to a store. It was arranged by Maxwells to let me know by email when it was ready to pick up. This did not happen. A week later I phoned the store and picked up the item. The email has still not arrived.”
