"Hi,\r\n\r\nI've been buying wildflower seeds from Meadowmania for at least five years and never once been disppointed. We have a large rear garden where I've created three wildflower sections. The top section I first seeded about six years ago.\r\n\r\nThe wildflowers were breathtaking in their beauty. A year later I removed a huge double hedge mostly of giant laurels opening up the wonderful panoramic view right across the valley; our site is on a steep valley side.\r\n\r\nThere is an adjacent lane running parallel to the very top of our garden; due to the outbreak of Covid there were an increased number of walkers along the lane. Many of these walkers stopped and stared in amazement when the came to the opening and looked down on the wildflowers; a number of these walkers used their mobile phone to take images of the view across the valley and also the stunning display of wildflowers. \r\n\r\nI've been asked many times how I created the meadows and I've been more than happy to recommend Medowmania. The soil is very rich indeed after years of leaves dropping and it goes against the instructions for creating wildflower meadows where poor soil is needed.\r\n\r\nFast forward to now. Having removed 17 extremely tall trees including physically digging up eight of their stumps and roots I finally created the middle meadow where I've now broadcast the latest supply of Meadowmania wildflower seeds. This time I chose no grass because I found the grass was taking over at the end of the growing season so I've rotavated each year; this year I've rotavated and started from scratch again including adding extra Yellow Rattle.\r\n\r\nTiny seedlings are now appearing; I'm keen to see how the meadows perform this year.\r\n\r\nMany thanks Meadowmania I'm delighted with the seeds; I'll be back again next year. I'm now 76 and the rotavating on the steep site gives me a good workout but it's worth it not only to see the wildflowers but also to receive the many kind comments.\r\n\r\nThis year I've had the pleasure of using the Howard Bulldog petrol rotavator I've restored; the soil was saturated after weeks of continual rain.\r\n\r\nKindest regards and thank you.
