I have yet to receive my plugs and seeds so (so far) am unable to give a review on the quality. I made my order on 28th Feb and it's now 15th March.

My first order never arrived. Its replacement still hasn't arrived after almost another week. I'm being generous with the second star because we have had very bad weather.

Meadow seed packets seem very heavy on grass seen. Bought some previously and had very few flowers but thick grass that seemed to choke anything else. Bought more recently, a different packet, and sowed it today and again seems to be heavy on the grass seed. I'll have to wait to see what happens.

We supply two versions of all our wildflower mixes. One which is pure wildflower seed and one which is a mixture of grass and wildflower seed. The grass and wild flower seed mixes have a rate that is standard across the trade. This is 80% grass and 20% wild flowers. If you think grass will grow back naturally then sow the wildflower seed mixes on their own. Yow sow meadow mixes, including grass, at very low seed rates and it is a very small amount of grass that you're planting. If you're not sure then contact us pre ordering and we will advise you on the correct mix.

Plants arrived poorly packaged, cardboard box with news paper squashed onto top of plants,long wait before delivery (advised after placing would be delayed)then a further email regard’s delay asking if I wanted a refund or to wait ..not the best of experience’s for my first (and probably last) order..

Due to a very high peak of orders in April we fell considerably behind where we hoped to be. We tried to keep customers informed. But we recognise that messaging became quite confused late in the season. We will look to try and learn from this next spring. In terms of packing we send the orders out in cardboard boxes and use newspapers to protect them simply so we can recycle materials. The plants sometimes can be seemed squashed when they arrive. But they should recover well once they are planted out and watered.

Positive the plants and seeds are first class but alas our order was shipped on a Thursday and by Monday we were still waiting for delivery. 5 days in a stuffy courier van or depot is never going to be ideal for delicate young plug plants. Disappointed but received refund without question.

For larger orders of plug plants we use DHL the carrier. They order was dispatched on Thursday and should have arrived on the Friday. The customer was concerned as to the condition of the plants if they took delivery on the Monday. We offered to replace them, but they asked to cancel the order and be refunded which we have done. Plug plants will survive several days safely in their box. But if you are concerned about the condition of any of our products when they arrive, please contact us and we will look to resolve it.

I'm sure that once my flowers are growing they will look amazing - but - the weight of seeds I ordered did not correspond to the amount I was sent. I emailed you 17th March but have not had a reply.

bad packageing no labeling on box to state live plants inside ,plants all bunched up with free seeds on top in a paper bag that were damp

Clealry we made some mistakes on this order for which we have apologised to the customer. If your goods do arrive in an unsatisfaictory state if you let us know. Then we will look to resolve any issues.

Tried several times to change both site contact and delivery requirements but on each time this was ignored. Trying to contact by phone was even worse. Would not recommend.

We are slightly confused by this review. As we delivered on the correct day, the correct product to the person who we were aske to deliver to.

I ordered 20 plugs and 10 of them were poor quality, very tiny. Also delivery took longer than expected.

Delivery of plugs this season has been longer than expected due to an exceptional level of demand. Plug sizes can vary between species, but all will have a strong developed root system. If you have any concerns about the plants when you receive them contact us direct and we will look to resolve any problems

My plugs arrived rather squashed. Unfortunately only 5 of the ten campion plants had any life left. The root systems were good- they just needed more protection for the journey.

Plugs can sometimes suffer slightly whilst being sent by post or carrier. Generally once unpacked and watered they will recover and flourish. If you receive plugs and they do not recover then contact us direct and we will look to resolve it.

I was not very happy with the plug plants I received they were on the whole ,weak ,and small with one whole line hardly any growth and a few blanks. I had waited so long to plant the plugs in the graveyard that I did not make contact or register any complaints , but you asked me for my opinion so I responded ! Emma Wade

Plants can sometimes struggle when in the post. Generally plugs will recover once planted out. But if you have any concerns, if you contact us direct we will look to resolve the matter.

As with all our seed orders it was sent by 1st class post and was dispatched one working day after receipt of order. Sadly, Royal Mail are having more than usual problems with mail due to Covid at present. If your order does not arrive contact us direct and we will look to resolve it.

Plants arrived via DHL obviously nothing on the packaging to denote which way up so consequently smashed!!very disappointing !I am currently trying to revive them!!

We have apologised to the customer. We put a sticker on each box saying live plants and they are generally very well packed. If you have any problem with products you have ordered from us then contact us direct and we will look to resolve the matter for you

Received email 17 Oct advising my order of 3 x 10 plugs dispatched. Received only 2 x 10 with no explanation for shortfall. Enquired if 1 x 10 had been sent separately. Received telephone call to explain Clustered Bellflower ordered had not grown well and so were not sent. Replacement offered and I said 'sent me anything as I am starting out on attempt to make small meadow.' Received 1 x 10 NL Bellflower, very small and undeveloped, some already dead. All dead by next day, despite having been watered.

We had a problem with Clustered Bell Flower and the customer agreed to take Nettle Leaved Bellflower instead. Both species go almost completely dormant over winter. Then in the spring they start to grow again. There is a healthy tap root on each plug.

I’m disappointed that delays to delivering my meadow plug plants wasn’t flagged before accepting my order. Subsequent comms okay But I would have chosen another supplier

i have place an order in good faith and the money has been taken from my account - then MeadowMania inform me that they do not have the product to deliver?? This is not a good start I had spent time to find and decide to use Meadow mania - please improve asking me to review BEFORE i have even received the product is POOR!!!!

This relates to the issue we have had this autumn with plugs plants. Due to very high volume of orders dispatch of plugs is taking much longer than normal. The order has now been sent. We sent a badly timed review request which was triggered by the seed part of the order that was sent straight away.

As yet I haven’t received my order but I have been in contact with Tim and he has since explained the reasons why. I look forward to receiving my ‘plugs’ very soon

We do have a major problem on delay of plugs plant mixtures of up to 4 weeks due to an exceptional demand. We are trying to keep customers updated but we understand that this is disappointing.
