I have never sown seeds before and had no idea what to do or what to go for. The material provided by MedowMania, alongside the top quality mix provided has given me a gloriously flowered wildflower patch behind my back garden. This area for years has been covered in wild grass and was chopped back & dug out specifically for the wildflower seeds, I did expect grass and weeds to work their way back into the area but the strong quality of the seeds flowered well and very easily and has left me with this great area. I hope the flower head seeds will fall and regenerate next year again, but will definitely be purchasing more mixes to extend into new patches as well.

My Ai chat bot is right on board. Here is what it says: It’s great to hear that you’re interested in eco-friendly plant life! Here are some tips to help you get started: Plant trees: Trees are great at absorbing carbon dioxide from the atmosphere, which helps to reduce the amount of greenhouse gases in the air. If you have space, consider planting a tree in your garden or community. It can make a big difference! Use rainwater: Collecting rainwater in a water butt is a great way to save water and reduce your carbon footprint. You can use this water to water your plants instead of using tap water. Go peat-free: Peatlands are important ecosystems that store large amounts of carbon. When peat is extracted for use in gardening, it releases carbon into the atmosphere and damages habitats. Try to avoid using peat-based composts and opt for peat-free alternatives instead. Compost: Composting is a great way to reduce waste and create nutrient-rich soil for your plants. By composting at home, you can reduce your carbon footprint and help to reduce the amount of waste that goes to landfill. Plant perennials: Perennial plants are great for storing carbon in the soil. Consider planting some perennials in your garden or community to help reduce your carbon footprint. I ordered a kilo of Timothy Grass to feed my Sulcata tortoise over the winter, came very quickly and well packaged. I have seeded the tray and it has grown well, very pleased. Easy website to use and make orders.

Nice healthy cowslips, well packaged. Rather small, so transplanted into larger pots to grow on before planting out. Purchased 20 plants but obtained at least 25 specimens.

My Primrose plug plants arrived in good condition in a tray of pots which were easy to push out from as they were tapered, all the way down to a nice large drain hole.

My order arrived safely and the tiny plants have been planted out. Time will tell how well they thrive. For this reason I would prefer to delay my review until the spring.

Hi, For the last two years I've used Meadow Mania wildflower seed mixes with incredible success. I converted the top of our rear very steep garden to a meadow; the first year the meadow was hidden from the adjacent lane by a huge 60' long hedge. This year I completely removed the hedge and have been amazed by the number of walkers who have stopped in astonishment upon seeing the stunning meadow in full bloom through the newly erected wire mesh fence. A number of walkers were so impressed they took digital images of the flowers and congratulated me on my efforts. Each time I've explained I bought the seeds very cheaply from Meadow Mania. The wildflowers were stunning in their beauty and I was over the moon to achieved such success because I've only ever done gardening on a need to do basis. The ground was laid to grass which was more moss; I had to dig it over by spade twice before I could rotavate it; it took at least five rotavating sessions to prepare the ground getting rid of a big pile of stones roots and other debris but I stuck with it. 2019 was the first seeding and in very little time the new plants were saying hello to me. I'm aware I could leave the meadow to flower on its own in future years giving an even larger selection of flowers but having the rotavator I decided to first strim and remove the spent flowers then go over twice with the rotavator; rake then broadcast new wild flower seeds again; the result was a repeat of 2019. I've already bought more wild flower seeds from Meadow Mania for next year 2021 but I think next year when the flowering season which by the way is long has ended I'll just strim and then leave well alone. Now aged 73 all this heavy gardening work is starting to tire me. I heartily recommends Meadow Mania to anyone; their seed mixes are simply brilliant and cost little to put on such a magnificent display of flowers for months each year. Thank you and kind regards, Colin in Huddersfield.

Seeds and book despatched quickly. The Instant Sunshine seeds produced a breathtaking little meadow in what was a sad grassed area. I didn't want the free book that was offered until I saw the flowers when I felt the need to know more about them so got the book!

I had previously ordered and received wild flower seeds that were sown on the verge outside my home. They bloomed profusely and have been much admired by passers by. In order to reduce the impact of grasses I had a further order of yellow rattle. These were received on the date promised . They came with comprehensive guidance on sowing. I am now waiting until the autumn to sow them

Instant sunshine meadow planted last year was slow to start but then was a riot of colour right through to the end of October. Absolutely lovely. Digging and replanting again this year. Flower and grass meadow for clay not quite so vibrant year 1 but looking forward to year 2 when it should get going.
