Our normal dispatch time for plugs from order date is 5 working days. Due to a high volume of orders this has slipped back to 8 days during April. We are working hard to recover back to 5.

We send a review request out 10 to 15 days after dispatch. This is to give customers a chance to say if they received the goods they ordered and in the time they expected. We will look to make it clearer in our email what we are asking for in this review.

“I recently received my item from meadowmania , the item arrived on time and as ordered. However I was disappointed to read the manual provided with the seeds, which suggested the use of the pesticide glycophoshate. In light of the fact that most people buy bee friendly seeds to encourage wildlife I think the encouragement to use such chemcials which are harmful to wildlife is hyopocritical by meadowMania and should not be prmoted.”

“Efficient service, time will tell on quality of flowering.. a mistake picking packets with so much grass, I just wanted flowering seeds ... is there such a thing?”

“I received my seed quite quickly. I would have liked more information on the packet on how to look after the flowers in the future. I can look on your web site but I didn't find the site very good to find my way around , in fact I had to try to order 3 or 4 times. My seeds are just starting to grow now after the rain and warm weather has started. Fingers crossed for a good show soon.”

We do send some information with each product. There is also a lot of free advice and information on our website. If any customer is unsure then please feel free to contact us by email or phone and we will help.

All our plugs have been grown for a minimum of 2 to 3 months before dispatch.They will have a well developed root system. In terms of leaves they will vary from none if dormant . to a few small ones to relatively large ones. If you receive some plugs and are in anyway concerned then please contact us.

“Grass seed came on time. They gave a promise of a packet of free wildflower seeds but they did not arrive. I emailed them but no response. We wondered if they had put them in with delivery note as the plastic envelope had been opened.”

Bulbs are sent out from September onward. Whilst our information online explains delivery times we are making steps to improve the information on the order confirmations.

In this case we have accepted that the plug plants did not arrive in ideal conditions. We expect them to fully recover.
