“Purchased seed for a tricky area around a large mulberry tree. Grass is sprouting where no grass has grown before. Very pleased with shadelawn.”

“Order and delivery was easy and quick. The seeds are coming up already and the area is already starting to turn green. Can’t wait to see it in flower!”

“Beautiful little cowslip plugs. Potted them on to develop over the summer before planting out. They are looking good. Order was delayed a little, but Meadow Mania kept me advised. Would use again.”

“Excellent service, like the way you can order smaller quantities of fresh quality grass seed. Good value and prompt delivery.”

“planted a wild flower mini meadow last year with seed from meadow mania, it looked amazing so decided to extend the planting area, already growing well soon be flowering, so 5 stars.”

“Disappointed by the proportion of grass to flowers, too much grass.”

All Meadow mixes are based on 80% grass and 20% wild flowers. You sow lawn seed at 40 grams to the sq metre and meadow mixes at 4 grams. So you are only sowing about 3 grams to the sq meter of grass seed in a meadow. The grass is an important backdrop for the flowers.

“Thank you. Arrived safe and sound. But can't write a review yet as I've not yet put the seed down. I have bought before and been very pleased. I'm sure I will be this time too.”

“I am very impressed with MeadowMania. They gave me lots of useful advice on how to set up my new mini-meadow. The seeds and plugs arrived in good condition and my meadow is growing, which considering how bad I am at gardening and how cold the weather has been is a great result! I will definitely continue to use them. Thank you MeadowMania”

“Absolutely brilliant all round. I seem to have some kind of "death touch" with wild flower seeds, and I'm slapdash at preparing the soil as suggested. But on two occasions, hapzardly sown, these have taken well and grown beautifully. Thank you!”

“I ordered 20 plugs and 10 of them were poor quality, very tiny. Also delivery took longer than expected.”

Helpful Report

Delivery of plugs this season has been longer than expected due to an exceptional level of demand. Plug sizes can vary between species, but all will have a strong developed root system. If you have any concerns about the plants when you receive them contact us direct and we will look to resolve any problems
