“After visiting bike shops for years I've never experienced the care and attention to detail from the team members I dealt with. The only issue is they're a 3 hour drive away but worth every effort to get there. Truly excellent in every respect”

“Apart from a small mixup with delivery, the Sevice I received from Mapdec was excellent. In a discussion with Paul I was given sound advice, prior to making the purchase. He was able to offer me a competative price for the wheelset. Since receiving them, they are excellent.”

“Work was all carried out fine and within timeframe suggested. Front mudguard was missing when I collected bike. Also front suspension very hard to compress, too much air in it. Would have been a five star if it wasn't for these points.”

“Purchased a frame from mapdec few weeks back within 24 hours I had a call telling me the frame had been inspected and ready for collection. I will be be having it built by them as I have every confidence of this firm building me a sensible bike”

“Great service- Paul obviously very knowledgeable and that's why I traveled from Huddersfield to get his expertise. I knocked 1 star off just for the delay from bikone- I'm not sure if this is something you can rectify- it seems the rep in the UK was delaying or saying the bottom bracket should have arrived. It took 2 months which is a long time to be without bike. Like I said, this may be out of your control but maybe feed it back to bikone rep.”

“I cannot thank paul and his team enough for the advice and helping me purchase the right carbon wheels for my road and gravel bike , plus the work done to both bike in the workshop full service on gravel , bike fit & small service on road bike, also putting right the work done on my bikes done wrong !!! by a big retail cycle store never me mention no names !! Sod it yes I will wheelbase !!! Never go back there . Mapdec you have just restored my faith in someone who will take extreme care in what you do on people's bikes. I cannot thank you enough again , and if anyone else is reading this review honestly I can't recommend Mapdec cycle work enough, get yourself there you won't be disappointed at all.”

“Custom build Willier Filante SL, Campagnolo super record 12 speed wireless group set, Campagnolo Bora 60mm wheel set. I drove two 500 miles round trips from my house for the build, this is a testament to the team at Mapdec. Paul, Hannah, Madeline and the team were absolutely fantastic from start to finish in my build and bike fit. I supplied all the new parts. The group-set had a pairing issues so the team worked tirelessly with supplier sorting out the replacement parts under warranty. If you want a custom build, repair, service the only business that can do a professional, quality job in the entire UK is Mapdec.”

“I was recommended Mapdec Cycle Works by a friend as I was struggling to get the SRAM AXS gears on my road bike to work correctly after a minor crash. I called Mapdec and Madeline who answered the call was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. I was informed I did not have to book my bike in, but was invited to drop in with it at any time. On arriving at Mapdec's premises I was introduced to Hannah one of the technicians who took care to listen to my description of the issue and what I had done to try to rectify the problem myself. After only half an hour the problem had been diagnosed and repaired at a very reasonable charge. From my experience and from what I saw at Mapdec they are a very professional outfit who stand out compared to other cycle shops I have used in their abilities and customer service. If I have any further problems with any of my bikes that I cannot resolve myself I would not hesitate driving the 30 miles to Mapdec to use their services again. Many thanks to Hannah and Madeline.”

“Comprehensive service on an e-bike, including suspension forks. The mechanics use an online booking portal which kept me up to date on work done, costs, progress etc. Good chat with them when I dropped off and collected the bike to go over everything. Work completed to a very high standard, top stuff!”
