“The problem with buying e.g. light bulbs, is the delivery when they arrive, all seems fine. However when you come to use them maybe a few months later, one & then another and another may be dead. It's too late, too costly & too much bother to complain & send them back. On one occasion I had decided to save the "duds" I finished up with a full box of 10 out of, I think 50, that were either broken or dud. It had taken maybe 6 - 9 months to discover this - I just binned them.”

I apologise you were unhappy with the packaging unfortunately we can only carry stock of a limited number of sizes of outer carton and will always choose the most suitable for the product to enable it to reach its destination in the best condition. Although this may seem wastefull all of our outer boxes and the inner packaging are fully recycled. Kim Puttick Customer Services Manager

“Good fast next day delivery every time we have used Lyco for the Hotel, but disappointed that picking list says some items in stock then only part of the order arrives. The missing items are then put on back order with no eta for delivery and I had to chase Lyco for an update who couldn't say when either. Balance of order did arrive a few weeks later. Generally very good though.”

“The bulbs are not a patch on the ones they were selling some time ago. The recent ones especialy Lycos own are inclined to blow very quickly and we have even gad the crown silver ones explode. Again with the crown silver screw fitting the glass comes detached from the fitting .”

“Prompt delivery but poorly packaged as light bulbs left loose and rattling in inner box. Haven't checked to see if any have been damaged.”
