“Second time using Love Logs and very pleased with the service and choice of logs. Bought hobbit logs, which are a perfect size for our smaller stove, saving me the trouble of cutting up bigger logs! Haven't had the stove going yet, but no reason to think they won't burn well.”

Ahhh thank you Isabella, that's what we do 😎 Is wanting more bark for aesthetic purposes? Bark tends to be on the outer edges of the firewood where the logs tend to come out a bit smaller, which is why we grade those pieces out during packing - we only want you to have nice, full size logs in each box 😃 Paul

“Using on my Somerset Grill- the hardwood is dry, cut to size and burns, thus cooks amazingly well. I highly recommend Love Logs.”

“Very quick delivery, easy and clean packaging and logs. Good burn, only aesthetic upset is the square clean cut/no bark aspect if piled up. But only minor issue given they are there to burn. Image is of 5 boxes.”

“Bought 12kg British Oak Charcoal, large box of Hobbit logs & medium box of oak smoking chunks. The charcoal burned long hot during cooking an 8hr brisket & smoking chunks gave a lite smokey flavour. Really pleased with these and will buy again. I bought the Hobbit logs as a trial to see how long a box will last, as we only light the woodburner in the evening, they were as described, dry and burned well with plenty of heat. Overall a great UK company with sustainability and ethics at it's core.”

“Arrived nicely packaged and will provide a good supply over the coming weeks. I’m using it for cooking in the Kamado Joe so an experiment at this stage Vs traditional lump wood charcoal.”

Thanks for the review Ian! I'd argue British charcoal is traditional lumpwood whereas the bigger brands are more modern, as we still use traditional kiln processes versus the mega factories used by the big brands. Hope it's a good experiment and thanks for the order! Paul

“Kindling. Ordered a large box of kindling, easy order and checkout, quick delivery with messages to keep me informed. Kindling as per all previous orders in a recycable box/material with kiln dried wood for easy clean burn.”
