Hi Richard, Thanks so much for the review! No matter the density of the wood, once carbonised they all burn very similarly... actually the longer burning charcoals tend to have a lower carbon content, so technically they're actually an inferior product! All of this said, we are working on a new product in this space, but we need to make sure the quality and sustainability meet our expectations. Watch this space! Paul

“Genually love you guys!! I've had the coal before and think it's great but I've been using supermarket bought kinderling for my pizza oven. After watching your YouTube video on lighting it I decided to buy the Fuel Kit. I have to say it made a massive differnence, the oven temperature was perfect and so much easy to manage. Recommend 100% and my delivery turned up the next day, whcih blew my mind! Thank you fo doing what you do.”

“I would highly recommend. My BBQ'd food tastes so so much better. I'm using a fraction of the amount of charcoal I would usual use with the cheap BigK which means it's not as expensive as you might think. The temperature is higher for longer. Overall a great product from people who care about the planet. Well done!!”

“I attended a master class in BBQ techniques where the Smokin Elk promoted Love Logs with different types of wood for flavouring He also promoted the charcoal for cooking Wow I used the charcoal yesterday which was so clean and no chemicals and gave off great heat. Whilst cooking two large tomahawk steaks I used two lumps of oak wood to flavour the meat whilst cooking The meat was amazing and I will never go back to a gas BBQ again. I highly recommend Love Logs for cooking and flavouring”
