“Fast, efficient service. Excellent website. Good value for money logs, even though for example the Hobbit logs are maybe 50% more expensive than builders bags of loose logs. Bulk logs are often very very hard to split or even impossible to split and can't be used in small or medium sized log burners. So, Love Logs make sense financially as well as being eco friendly.”

“I find birch logs burn very quickly. Oak logs being more dense burn longer, but with less of the “flame”. I’m happy with this trade off. I also don’t like buying logs in plastic bags. Quick delivery good quality kiln dried logs.”

“I received my order of beech smoking wood dust very quickly, and have just tried it out on an overnight smoke. It was excellent, and burned really well, giving a lovely flavour to the food (salmon and cheese). I’ll be back soon to try some more!”

Hi David, I'm sorry you feel this way! For every box of logs, the delivery costs us more than £6 and the shipping box more than £2, so with £8 spent just getting it to you, it's natural that we end up more expensive than locally collected logs. We tend to find our regular customers are those happy to pay a bit more for the convenience of next day delivery, but we understand that our business model isn't for everyone. Glad you liked the quality of the logs! Paul

“After many years of trying different logs, most with disappointing results, we've finally found the best. The quality of Love Logs hardwood logs is amazing. The wood is properly dried, so it burns well, and because it's hardwood, it burns more slowly. The service from Love Logs is fantastic and I love their carefully thought-through environmental philosophy. Would highly recommend.”
