“From the outset, me and my Fiancee were dreading the whole homebuying process. We were excited at the prospect of owning our first home together, but we had no idea where to start. I'm an Accountant by trade, so i deal with complicated processes and figures, but the whole home buying process seemed very daunting. How do we arrange Surveys? How do we choose a solicitor? How do we even choose a mortgage? Where would we start? Thankfully, a good friend recommended a company to us who i had never heard of before, this company had helped him and his wife buy their first home a year before, this company was London & Country. Before calling L&C, I didn't expect much, but i hoped for a lot in regards to help through the process. From the first call i made to L&C, i felt reassured that i was in safe hands and through every stage of the process i felt that our L&C representative had our best interests in mind. Our offer was conditional on a quick sale due to the sellers needing to move fast on purchasing their new home. After making our representative aware of this from the outset, she did EVERYTHING she could to move it along quickly. She recommended us a mortgage that was based not only around our financial requirements, but also based on the average turnaround timescale that the lender could turn our application around! From that moment, i knew we were dealing with the right people for the job. Every aspect of us buying the house was explained to us in detail, every choice was broken down with details and reasons, and at no point did we feel left behind or in any doubt what was happening. Now, we are 1 week away from completion, after a 5 week turnaround from our offer being accepted to exchange of contracts! I am so glad i took a friends advice and called London & Country to help us through the process. So if you too are in the position we were in being completely lost, or if you are just needing a little help guiding you through the process, let me be that friend to you that i gratefully had at the start, and let me recommend to you, London & Country Mortgages.”

“Our current bank wouldn't offer us a mortgage - L&C found several other lenders who were willing to do so. Without L&C we wouldn't have moved to our new home. Kirk in particular was so helpful and professional. And to top it off it was a completely free service.”

“Clearly the main reason why I and others choose L&C is because they are free. But I have now used them twice because they are good, not just because they are free. I have always managed to speak to my caseworker, and haven't really got a bad word to say about them. I recommend, but especially to those that are computer literate so you can scan and send information to them by e-mail.”
