“Ian has been to our home twice now regarding different lock issues. He is both professional and friendly and works efficiently to a high standard. We wouldn’t contact anyone else now, as we know he will get to us as quickly as he can and do a great job.”

“Can't fault Neil. He was at the house less than 45 mins after the initial call. Unfortunately, he had to drill the lock out and replace rather than fix, but kept me informed all the way. He was very friendly, clearly very competent, and takes pride in his work. I would have no hesitation in recommending him to anyone. The only thing that I could suggest (and this is no reflection on Neil as it was before he was involved), is that during the initial call to the lockrite central helpline, they couldn't provide me with a quote for the total work, only the call out fee. It would have been useful if they could have given me a 'worst case scenario' cost.”

“As a retired worker aged 74 i was shocked at the cost of £82 for 2 mins work. Your operative was polite and good at his job,but exssesive in his charges.for labour only.”

Hi Mac, I have been looking back over older reviews and noticed yours had not been acknowledged here, for that I do apologise. Thank you for taking the time to share your experience here, feedback such as yours is always valued. We are pleased to hear that you found our locksmith polite and good at his job, however concerned to hear you thought the cost was more than you were comfortable with. I do apologise that on this occasion you did not anticipate the potential final cost of the service and that we apparently failed to have made this clear to you. This is not how we strive to operate at Lockrite. You should have been advised of the labour rate when you first called in, prior to us sending out a Locksmith to help you. Furthermore when the Locksmith was there we strive to always provide customers with an estimate and wait for approval before starting any work. We also aim to ensure customers are fully aware there is VAT and any materials used, to be added to the hourly rates when the final bill is calculated so there are no nasty shocks. As it sounds as though this was not your experience please still feel free to reach out to our Customer Service Team on 0800 0612 677 with your concerns or if you would like to discuss this further.
